Expensive but high quality Bug Out Bag or Emergency Kit item.
I own a DDitW emergency sleeping bag that is part of my daily hiking gear. So when I saw this on a Lightning Deal, I picked it up, and am happy I did. Hopefully like my bag I’ll never have to use it. The material seems sturdier than a normal emergency blanket, paracord is included, and it comes in a nice case. Only weighs a few ounces. Sure, it’s nothing but a tube of Mylar, but it’ll do the trick if called on. It’s not a tent, but heck, many through hikers sleep under a tarp, so it’ll provide reasonable protection from the elements if set up properly. Durability will of course be an issue if used often, but I hope to never use it. Overall a good buy and worth a few bucks more than generics.

Light, Compact, and Surprisingly Durable – Great for Emergency Kits
I added this to my hiking pack as an emergency backup and was seriously impressed with how tough it actually is. It’s super lightweight and packs down small, so it doesn’t take up much space—perfect for ultralight gear setups or bug-out bags. Set-up was quick with the included paracord, and it held up well during a cold, windy night. Definitely not something I’d use for luxury camping, but for emergency shelter or survival situations, it’s a great thing to have on hand. The reflective material also adds warmth and visibility. Feels like a solid piece of insurance to have on any outdoor adventure. Great quality for the price and peace of mind.

Perfect emergency tent
I got this to put in my hiking bag in case we get stranded or stuck while hiking and need an overnight shelter. It is small, and easily portable. The mylar material of the tent is lightweight but feels durable, so I feel confident it could shelter us appropriately in an emergency situation as long as it's not hurricane conditions or something. Very happy with my purchase!

Last ditch, but useful
It’s very roughly seven foot six inches long and four foot nine inches wide when laid flat. So rate it for two medium-thin adults who are extremely close. An emergency snuggle tunnel. It’s very thin and delicate (hence the light weight), so be gentle and I’d suggest putting the whole thing in a gallon bag. Once it’s unfolded, it won’t want to be as compact as it was before, so the cardboard tube and drawstring bag that it arrived in might as well be kindling and foraging containers. Useful kit if used correctly.

Not worth the price.
It tore twice just taking it out of the bag. I was scared to even try to set it up in my living room. Definitely needs some duct tape. I wasn’t expecting much, but it’s the same material and durability as my $5 wal mart emergency tent.
