Does exactly as advertised.
Easy installation. Just drill through the plasterboard and push a gripit in. Screw on item. No faffing finding a rawlplug and no worries about holes getting bigger either. Well recommended.

Get a grip
I’m new to diy so let’s say I messed up a hollow plasterboard wall putting a small shelf up, I created a rather big hole that no wall plug would fix , I got these having not used any others before and they solved my problem, I only needed standard screws as they needed to fit through the brackets so the size of the screw fixing was fine for this job , I filled the hole first and re measured the holes , as I had a large hole it was easy to just push the grips into the cavity , I can see what people say about the turning of the wings , I couldn’t tell if they had opened , so I pulled it out and checked again to make sure , the plastic hole to turn is a bit flimsy it does only need a gentle turn however. The grip went in lovely and the tension of the wings was immediately enough to stay in place and the plastic around it covered the holeNot sure what to use if the hole is any biggerThe shelf is solid nowI then used one for another diy disaster in a hollow wall , a bigger hole , it gripped enough for the screw but the plastic bit wobbled a bitDue to hitting a Batton on the other side I couldn’t use one of these so I put a wall plug inI can see these are great for smaller jobs

Not as good as the blue!
The blue ones held my 70" TV perfectly but the yellow ones lack the same quality. Three snapped just mounting some clothes hooks. I won’t buy the yellow ones again.

Perfect for plasterboard.
Great product. As long as you don’t have dot and dab these turn the chore of fixing something into a quick and easy experience.

Do it right and they will work fine
I think the only way you could review this negatively would be if the plasterboard or drill bit or measurement wasn't right (eg match 15mm grip its with 15mm plasterboard). The other reviewer might have used the screws provided whereas I used my own screws which were more substantial and thicker and longer. Maybe that's it , you don't have to use their screws. If so I can understand the disappointment of the other reviewer. The first one I tried didn't work right but it was down to me not drilling the hole precisely or slowly enough. I took my time after my first failure and got a nice , neat hole and a snug fit , tapped it in and a turn to the right and its was fine. After I figured out what I was doing I put 15 into fresh plasterboard and every time I got a nice strong screw fitting in place. No loose turning screws , a nice pinch onto the wall. Its like anything DIY , get the right bits and use them the right way and you are OK if you don't rush it. I would recommend testing one on an old piece of plasterboard first. In short , they do absolutely work really well. I know this because the one I got wrong had to come out and I felt I was going to rip a hole in the plasterboard as it came out! Just ordered two more packs. Quick postage as well which helps.

Essy to use and strong.
Stumbled on these a couple of years ago in my local B&Q where they had an offer on a pack of 5, bought them as the other plasterboard wall fittings weren’t suitable for my parents house. ( I had to put up a heavy mirror in the living room, used suitable fixings but found as I screwed them in that the space behind the plasterboard wasn’t as deep as I was expecting - you can imagine what happened!)Drill a 15mm hole, tap in a plug with a hammer, gently push the centre section all the way in and then use a small flat bladed screwdriver to deploy the wings - that easy (the installation instructions don’t read as well).
