Barrettine Premier Wood Preserver - Dark Brown - 5L

Much better quality product compared to many others I've used (e.g. In the past when staining the fence). This product I used on my old, renovated shed and it's been amazing. It fully soaked in, dried quickly and after heavy rain you could see it repelled the water. The shed now looks like new! Only slightly annoying thing was it didn't pour easily from the can and dribbles everywhere which was a concern as its toxic to wildlife until it dries.

Goes on easy and covers well.

Been a keen diy-er in excess of 50 years.It pay you in the long run to buy quality product.OK it's not cheap but you get what you pay for.This is my third tin of this preserver because with the benefit of hindsight I know this preserver works & lasts indefinitely.100 % thoughally recommend this preserver any of my family and you.Cheap doesn't work.

Dark Brown colour looks fantastic on any wood. It soaks in deeply and enhances the grain. The paint stuff that only covers the surface doesn’t last like this does. 5 litre tin only did 4 x 6 ft fence panels on one side- very thoroughly though.

Item arrived damaged wood preserver luck it didn't spill everywhere

Bought some good quality garden furniture some years ago. When the time came to restain the wood I bought the woodstain from the furniture manufacturer and paid a lot of money for the privelege.On the bottom of the instructions label I happened to see that the product was manufactured by Barrettine.Buying this label product saved me over £40!.

I have used this product for many years and found it very satisfactory. Unfortunatly i will not be using this supplier again because his delivery agent left the package outside the unlocked sheltered porch in the rain, resulting in the package becoming a sodden mess. The contents were not damaged but would have been if not enclosed in a metal can!!

The tin arrived dented. Not enough packaging was used to prevent this. The product itself is good. kills grass.
