Fair warning - there may be TMI in this review - but really ladies let's be honest, OK? Because I know there are more ladies out there were they only need incontinence protection overnight due to not making it to their bathroom during the middle of the night! You know - you are pregnant or just had a child, or you have walking issues (crutches, cast, etc.), or you are now in perimenopause, menopause or are postmenopausal.. Or for some reason no matter how much you exercise that pelvic floor it ain't working... Yes this is for you! & I'm wondering "Why did I wait so long to get one of these???" - I'm telling you ladies that feeling to rush to the bathroom - only to not make it halfway there & now your pants are soaking wet? And you still got to go more? Or you wear incontinence panties or pads or liners hoping they'll hold it all by the time you get to the bathroom? This product is great! It holds a full 30 oz of fluid (per the info on the box).. Not sure you need to hold that much or not sure how much you empty out between your bed & the toilet? Before I ordered this, I started using disposable plastic cups the 18 oz variety - & discovered, that though the cups did catch most, many times I needed a second cup, because I didn't want to fill the cup to the top! (that will create a mess) & then I had to have tp near by to wipe because cups do not catch all the drips clinging onto the skin because cups are not as close & being it's dark, it wasn't always in place... Oops cups are messy but they're better than getting soaked by the time you reach the toilet. Then after using those cups, there's no lid so you are sleeping next to your urine on the nightstand - & then you have to carry it to your bathroom... & then if you have pets - good luck with them not being curious or knocking it over! 🙀🙀😒 I found this product to be very easy to use, it has a light softness, a silicone top to place up against your woohaw & then you can use it to wipe excess drops or drips by gently pulling it forward against that area. Unlike the cups I was using - it was easy to hold & simple to use. It seems quite durable & I was able to put the lid on (which means no urine odor to smell while sleeping) & I actually set it on the floor close to my bed, instead of the nightstand - it really means less likely to get knocked over by a pillow, my arm or my cat. It was so fast. I was able to go back to sleep & when I finally woke for the day, I took it to my bathroom, opened the toilet lid & poured the fluid in the toilet bowl. Closed the toilet lid, flushed the toilet & rinsed out the container, I added just a drop or two of Dawn liquid detergent soap & some water, swished it around real good then rinsed it. Set it on the steps to take back up to my bedroom later on & now it will be good to go for tonight! For me the extra features are the ease of holding it, the slight curve so it catches the stream & the drops, the wider base at the bottom makes it very stable - harder to knock over than a disposable cup, has a lid to keep odor away. Very easy to clean & transport.

Whenever I want to purchase from any online vendor, I first check the most recent two years of negative reviews. Most of the time, that seals my decision not to buy. In this case, I still decided to give the Loona a try. We live in an old three-bedroom house with one bathroom. Now that I'm older, it has become most inconvenient not to have access to the bathroom when it is direly needed. I didn't really want to make my own chamber pot, but I was desperate to come up with something. Lo and behold, the Loona appeared in my online searches. The design seemed clever and smart, well thought out to fit a woman's body. I bought one a month ago but didn't have to use it until today. (I've been setting my alarm in the mornings to wake me up before the men in my family start to get ready for their day.) As I had read that several women found the Loona not to fit well, others being embarrassed by leaks and messes, I ran to my laundry room where I kept the Loona in a cupboard. Threw an old towel on the floor. I'm heavier than I should be-- a size 16-18 when I should be a 12-14 for my height and age, so the heavy ladies' reviews were a concern. Oh, my. The experience was perfect. Perfect. There was no sound, no leaks, no mess. This made me question the negative reviews for this product because I had the exact opposite experience as those customers. There was no need to bend over (what?), just bend the knees slightly. Perhaps knee bending isn't even necessary. I will check on that next time. When I emptied the urinal later, the flexible top was tightly fit but fairly easy to lift with careful effort. I'm glad that it fits tightly. The entire process from start to cleaning was easy with no problems at all. I'm so pleased to be able to give a product found on Amazon a 5-star review!

I have not had any splash or leakage issues with my urinal. I’ve been fairly confined to my bed for 4 months now. This is the best purchase I made since the accident. I have had a couple instances where I did overfill the container and created a mess — I got a sense of how full my bladder was and have since avoided that by stopping, emptying it in the full bed pan and then finishing it off. It is so easy to use. I just get on my knees and squat down on it. The material is soft, skin friendly and comfortable. The cap goes on easily and it doesn’t smell. It has been a lifesaver for me and nobody has ever figured out that it was a urinal, which is the best part. Very easy to empty and clean. Doesn’t hold an odor. I’d pack it in the car from now on if I had to go somewhere and I was not sure what the bathroom situation was like — it is that simple and good! I’ve used pee funnels before and prefer this method for ease and no-mess. I wish I knew about this before my accident because I was on medication that made walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night a little wobbly but I would have been fine to use this instead! No need to risk falling or waking others up in the middle of the night. I’ll likely buy another to keep in my vehicle jic. Worth the $!

I am a review reader. I do a general Google search and read other sites, like Reddit. I'm surprised this product would have any negative reviews. In my experience it is perfection; it's attractive, leak-proof (I tested it by filling with water and tipping upside down), it has a unique no splash, quiet design, and is easy to clean. I also like the color. Highly recommend!

Works in an emergency, is quiet aswell and discreet as advertised. The contour for women is A+ plus , no leaks! almost all the other urinals on the market leave a mess or poorly shaped. However— if you have medical issues leading you to urinate more than twice a night or if you have orthostatic hypotension , this isn’t the product for you. I have to go about 4 times night. You cant see how full it is which leads to overflow accidents at night and no one wants that. This doesnt cut it past 2 uses before its full, and its very highly priced (understandable as its a small business) I Would love it if they made the Fluid capacity larger at the same price then it’d be worth me buying from them again, but for now it is what it is.
