I live in Colorado and the intense sun makes me burn quick unless I drench myself in sunscreen. I needed something I could use for hikes/runs, yard work, and other outdoor stuff.Last weekend in full blazing CO sun, I mowed 2.5 acres in full sun and didn’t get even the slightest bit of burn on my arms, shoulders or back. I had the same experience fishing in FL in July…no sunburn. And hiking at 13,000’ peak in full sun…again no sunburn or any other signs of sun.The fit is athletic without being snug. I got the medium and am 5’11”, 165, and am runner slim but by no means skinny. They breathe well and dry quickly after I’m done running.Very pleased. Got three more in various colors and wear them all the time.

I do like this shirt a whole lot. It fits perfectly (I buy a large, it fits exactly like a large.)... But, why it has to say, in big white letters on my left sleeve, "FISHING" I have no idea. It's honestly probably the least-likeable part of the 'style' despite everything else working extremely well. I'm wearing this for hiking, outdoor archery, and I've already had people asking me if I fish. I do not fish.Having the "FISHING" removed would be a significant improvement, as the marlin already implies that I fish enough, thank you.This being said, it's a great longsleeve hoodie for the price.. No sunburns yet in this scorching summer.

I like this hoodie. Price was decent. I like the color. I like that it has thumb holes. I bought it to wear by itself and loose fit or to wear as a top layer in cooler weather. For that reason, I went a size larger than I normally wear. I'm glad that I did because it will just fit that need. The sleeves are still a little shorter than I would prefer. When I put my thumbs through the thumb holes, the material is pulling from my armpits. For that reason, I probably won't be using the thumbholes much.Aside from that, I'm happy with it.

I was a little skeptical but this hoodie rivals anything that I have that is 3 or 4 times the price. Love the comfort and fit (I ordered a small since I'm a woman). Fits perfectly. Ready to buy more!!

Nice shirt, good price. Sized pretty small compared to another, similar shirt I ordered FROM THE SAME COMPANY, so I'm not sure what to tell you to expect. One fits fine, one too small.

Perfect shirt for hikes or on the boat. It's REALLY sun proof. I've been wearing these (4) colors for 2 years and I never get burned on a sunny day. I normally wear a tight tee shirt or tank top underneath.

I didn't realize the "FISH" print would be so large on the sleeves. Not sure I like that. Perhaps may it optional in future shirts.

Bought the M "Cloud Grey" hoodie. Is more of a silvery-purple. Also seems really baggy in the body. Small may have been a better fit, too bad it was sold out. 5'7" in-shape frame. Also does not seem very breathable when imitating wind by blowing through it. Hopefully it does the UV thing.

BLUF: Fits a bit big for my liking; definitely not breathable; in hot weather it is suitable for a casual stroll or stationary activities.First off, sizing. At 6'0 175lb this fits a bit large around the torso; though the arms are a good length so I'd be hesitant to go down a size. I like my shits to not be very baggy, and perhaps if I had a larger chest diameter I'd fill it out more; your mileage may vary.The deal-breaker for me is that, though stating it's "silky and breathable", it is certainly not breathable. My initial out-of-the-bag impression was that it's a heavier fabric than what I expected; which is fine since I'm not expecting the world at this price point. I figured I would give it a try and wore it on a 14k walk with a 10lb pack and 10 min per km average (not a leisurely stroll by any means); it was 29C out, humid, but with a gentle breeze. I quickly realized that this shirt is not breathable, as advertised. Again, as with the weight, I don't expect the world at this price point; I do, however, expect there to be more breathability than what this shirt has... especially when advertised as "silky and breathable".This shirt is probably great for fishing, gardening, strolls in the shade, shoulder seasons, etc.; but it simply does not perform in hot and/or humid weather.

Color is great, quality is the same as expected and the size is good. My son said it's good for biking, walking and hiking etc.

All the shirts I wear are 3xl. This fits more like a 2xl. So I suggest you buy one size up
