Level One Glucose 15 g Gel, Mandarin Orange - 3 Ea

When you are having a bad sugar low you don't want to play around! Talk to your doctor to be certain, but you may find, as I did, that 4g sugar tablets or orange juice don't always do the trick. I was a diabetic for more than 20 years when I reached that point and it's a scary thing. I was proud to be in "good control" but sometimes the numbers got too low. Trying to crawl your way back to a sugar balance if you have that bad crash isn't the answer. If you're a full size adult and balancing a good control level you will probably reach that point where you need a 15g boost of sugar to pull back from a crash. Products that were small tubes of gel were too sweet and made me sick. My system tolerated this really well. When you don't want to play around with inching toward recovery in hopes you don't pass out, this is the serious answer you need. Have it on hand and keep working on good control. Get back to where you don't have crashes again, but be prepared if you do.

The great thing about the Level One Glucose product is that since it is already broken down into a gel substance, it acts rapidly and immediately! It has never failed to raise blood sugar levels when those alarming low levels occur. I make sure to keep a supply of the Mandarin Orange ...delicious flavor... on hand (refrigerated tastes best) just in case I need it.

Convenient. Tastes good. Brings your low reading back up to level without going over into the rebound. Brings you up quickly. I keep one of these in my purse at all times in case my blood glucose goes to 50 or lower. Cost wise, I try to always carry juice which works if I am just a little low.

I am reviewing this product strictly on pricing and ease of use. I bought these to have on hand just in case of emergency. I have not tasted them so I can not review that end of this product. Great price for what these are. I have looked around and these are a great product for not that much money. Love that.

I am a diabetic and at times I experience low blood sugars. After trying many things( which some than raise the sugars too high), I have used these packets. They work well , are easy to carry and easy to use. My kind of product. Price could be a little lower.

Needed these one afternoon when out and about in our car, but found the packages difficult to open by hand -- and a gooey, sticky mess once we did manage to open them. It's back to the tablets for us.

I ordered this for emergency use for my diabetic husband...have used it one time and the glucose effect was quick when he had sudden hypoglycemia
