SimpliKidsUPF 50+ UV Ray Sun Protection Wide Brim Baby Sun Hat

Worked perfectly during our recent beach vacation with my 8.5 month old. The brim provided ample coverage, without limiting her sight. You can easily the adjust the fit of the hat by using the toggle. The tie closure helped deter my baby from pulling the hat off. She would mess with the hat for the first minute or so, but then she was fine. It came in so handy! We will continue to use this when she is in the baby carrier.I was sad that the pretty eyelet version was back-ordered, and I ended up with the plain white version. It is nice and bright, and looked girly enough for me, which was a happy surprise.I would definitely buy again.

This is such a nice, and CUTE, hat.It's a light enough material that it doesn't maket baby's head sweaty, and the cords to tie around her neck are nice and long. I would totally recommend this hat.❤️

My daughter is 13 months old but has a large head, so I thought I'd order up. The 2-4 year size was my option. While this hat is quite large on her, it doesn't matter because of the cinch band along the base of the hat (where the flower hangs from). At first I thought I wouldn't be able to use it, but frankly I love the fact that it's large on her. It covers more of her shoulders and face. And now she's got this hat for a while so she can grow into it - or until we lose it. Either way, we'd probably just buy another one.

i bought 12-24 month size for my 9month old because i wanted max coverage for my baby’s face. It is a perfect sun hat for my baby boy. This size for my baby boy not intended for daily use though. It sort of droops over baby face so it’s more for park trips, beach or poolside. You can kinda flip the front up to allow baby to see. Also the adjustable strap is not as tight as i thought, but nonetheless it’s still a great sun hat. It provides so much shade/coverage for baby’s face, neck and little shoulders. Your baby will be well protected from the sun. It fits him big now but thats how i wanted it to fit for better protection from the sun. Once he grows into it, it will be proportioned. I love this little sun hat for my baby! If you want oversized floppy hat defintely size up.

I really wanted to love this hat. I got the octopus one. It's adorable print, and the fabric is nice. Love that it's adjustable as well. However, there's one major flaw...the brim is ridiculously floppy! My baby loathes wearing it because she can't see, and if a hat isn't worn, it doesn't do anyone any good! Not sure why this one had so many good ratings...save your $$ and get a hat that has a brim that stays up.**UPDATE** I'm updating my review, as this company's customer service is excellent. While I did not like the product, they truly care that their customers are happy. Because of that, I'd definitely consider purchasing other products of theirs in the future, even though this particular hat wasn't a good fit for me and my baby.

We ordered this hat for our Mexico beach vacation and the hat did everything we had hoped! It fit great and could be adjusted, dried quickly when it got wet, cleaned up well when it got dirty, and most of all protected our daughter (10.5 months at the time) from the sun. While it bothered my daughter on some days, it stayed on for the most part and she liked it overall compared to their other hats or bonnets we have tried. Looking forward to using it again this summer. I am very pleased with our purchase and would definitely purchase again!

This is a bit big for my baby, but she has a tiny head. We sinched it up in the back and tied it around her chin and it worked well. I had to make sure to keep the brim pointed up so she could see in the pool but I’m sure she’ll grow into it. Very pleased with the purchase and will use through next season.

I purchased this for my baby to hopefully use this summer. She’s 2 months old now and I fear this may be too large for her. That said, it is a nice sun hat.
