The Solo Travel Handbook (Lonely Planet) Paperback – Illustrated, January 16, 2018

When traveling there are many things you need to think about while planning and this book gives you so many helpful tips. I had seen it in the library but realized it's value in planning a trip so I just had to have my own copy.

This book was super helpful for someone who hasn’t traveled alone before! I was worried about how to travel and be myself while being alone for a long time abroad but this book had many useful tips on how to prepare, where to go, and how to save for the trip. It even has tips on how to deal with coming home from the trip and how to renter the workforce if you want to. All in all it was an incredible read that I would recommend to people who need that little push to book the trip you didn’t know you needed.

My friend is going to Ireland on a solo trip this year and so I thought this would make a nice birthday gift. When she opened it, she immediately started flipping through and even said it got her excited for the trip since she was starting to get a bit nervous. Seems like a nice book for anyone considering a trip for themselves.

This book had a great number of travel tips on what to do and what not to do when traveling

I have already traveled Solo before reading this book, and think that for anyone who has already traveled solo, this book is not worth the money.But having bought it already and read it, it has provided me with the ability to see traveling through the authors' eyes, which is different then my approach, it is refreshing to see things from a different perspective.I think this book is meant to lend some emotional support to anyone intending to travel solo for the first time.

This book was both entertaining and informative. It’s a great read for any traveler who likes to plan their own trips even if they travel with others.
