Love the feel
After 2 weeks about of use, on farm Sim 22, enjoying using the joystick and shifter, is able to work in tandom with my Logitech heavy equipment panel that gives me a amazing Sim feel to playing. The wheel has a good rubber texture to it that is fairly close to the truck I drive, plenty of dine controls on joystick and all the buttons feel go for what they are. Yes I know this is all mostly plastic and yes I drive an actual commercial truck with hydraulic controls, and it feels comparatively similar for me to use this the same as work truck except this is new my truck not as new, loving it and looking forward to using it for years to come

Difficult to use with FS22.
Set up was easy, but it is notttttt easy to map out controls on FS22. You gotta have patience and understanding when it comes to the controls. Driving a manual and shifting isn't working for us. No actual shift pattern, just up and down. Brake is also reverse in automatic with no solution. First day of use so I'll update if we figure it out. It's definitely over priced for what it is. The quality of everything is only worth MAYBE $250. Not worth $400.P.S. It also does not work any other PC games it’s ONLY for FS, so we’re returning it.

Realistic controls
easy setup. Great for taking your Farming simulator Gameplay to the next level. Its full size wheel and metal peddles are great for a realistic feel. the separate software makes it easy to adjust settings.

Great Usability and Immersion, App and Support Need Improvement
This controller has been a mixed experience for me.Build Quality:Hori's build quality overall is adequate. The components are high-quality plastic, the wheel has a rubberized coating, good grip, and the components feel sturdy overall. The wheel has a little more movement in the mount than I expected, (i.e. it feels a little "loose") but after several days (15+ hours) of use it doesn't seem any worse than before. The throttle on the controller panel squeaks when moved, which I wouldn't expect until the controller has worn in longer.Usability:The controller setup is fairly well-designed. The stick has a large number of mappable buttons, plus a z-axis twist. The throttle works great for replicating the actual controls of equipment in real life that use it, and works well for normal driving for those who have disabilities precluding the use of foot pedals. Control mapping to FS22 / FS25 is mostly intuitive if using the default mapping, and the system works well alongside the Logitech Heavy Equipment panel if you need another joystick and 30 buttons to play around with. The mounts are good quality and deep enough to accommodate fixing to the desk at angles other than 90 degrees.Operation:Setup was simple, and updating the firmware via the app for the first time had no issues. I previously purchased the Farm Controller in the first week after release, and had to return the unit due to the issues I had with steering failing after the first couple of days. (see older reviews, it was a common issue later fixed by firmware update) The new unit I bought last week works great in Farming Simulator 22 and 25. Unfortunately, it wasn't working correctly in American Truck Simulator. (ATS) The wheel's centerpoint was off - instead of the controller being centered when the wheel is at rest, it was centered when turned about 15 degrees to the left. It turned out it was just a calibration issue, but it was more difficult to troubleshoot than it should have been due to FS22 and FS25 automatically compensating for it.It's important to recognize that this controller only works with specific games, not all driving games. The Return Process:Returning to Amazon within the first 30 days after sale isn't a problem - but packing everything back in the box is a challenge. I had to do this with the first Farming Controller System I purchased, and I'll be honest - I had to pull up and repeatedly watch an unboxing video to figure out how to arrange everything to fit it back into the box. More than anything, this is why I haven't returned the second one already. The Hori Device Manager app:The configuration utility ("The App") is pretty bare bones. It allows setting the sensitivity of the wheel, pedals, and joystick - that's basically it. If it detects your firmware is out of date, it'll prompt to update it. You'll probably want to go in and turn down the wheel sensitivity - mine was set to 5 (of 5), making steering extremely difficult in FS22/25.What's not present are passthrough links to the Windows Controller configuration/testing app, a link to reinstall the current firmware, Help, mouseover labels, or any of the commonly-expected UI elements that ease use.Hori Support:This by far was the most frustrating part of the entire experience. I dealt with Hori USA, so I don't know if they share the support team with the parent company or not. Let me preface this by saying I have worked in SaaS software companies for the last 12 years, and for 2 years of that, I managed a support team of 7, including offshore resources, using a "follow the sun" support model with customers in several time zones. So I know the limitations of Support, the challenges, and am admittedly opinionated on what constitutes "good" support. Hori's documentation on the support site leads to the App and firmware updates, and follows a pretty short script - Hori's tier 1 tech support likewise follows a tight script - uninstall The App, install the latest version of The App, plug in the wheel, update the firmware. Unfortunately in my case, the support person informed me that my wheel issue was fixed by the latest firmware (1.3.3.7), which apparently doesn't exist. The App version is 1.3.3.7 but the firmware version is 1.3.3.3. I spent 3 days emailing Support, (twice due to no responses from them in more than 24 hours) trying to resolve why I couldn't update the firmware before being told they couldn't do anything else for me and that I should return the unit to Amazon. After pushing back on this, I got a tier 2 Support person who asked me to check the App version and firmware version and that they were not the same number - 1.3.3.3 was the current firmware. At this point I reiterated that I was told the latest firmware fixed the ATS steering issue, and that the root problem (the off-center steering) wasn't fixed. The response I got was that ATS is only partially supported (true, but steering is fully supported) and that buttons 33 and higher didn't work (true, but irrelevant to the steering problem) and that they had a product specifically for ATS/ETS2. (Also true, but I question the upsell timing here) This was kind of an add-insult-to-injury situation, as the Truck Controller does not support Farming Simulator at all, plus costs $600. Needless to say, after spending $400 on this product, I wasn't inclined to go out ands spend another $600. At no point did Support recommend I run the Windows calibration on the controller, and since it seemed calibrated to me due to FS22 / FS25 performing flawlessly, I didn't think to do it until after the fact.Longevity:I can't rate this as yet, since I have less than 20 hours of wear on the controller in question. If I have the opportunity, I'll update this review when I can assess that aspect.Summary:The Hori Farming Vehicle Control System has a nice feel to it and is very usable. It makes a big difference in immersion and playability in FS and ATS. Hori USA's support team needs to update their troubleshooting script, pay closer attention to ticket content and be more prompt in their replies, but overall I would recommend the product if you're looking for a better FS or ATS/ETS2 experience.

Didn’t last but 2 months..
The implement controllers still work however the steering wheel itself has stopped working, of course outside the return window. My son got this for Christmas, I did the preorder and he was ecstatic to have it only to be disappointed. The “support” is not support it’s a joke. Find a different wheel until they get the kinks in this one fixed!
