To be honest, I was quite skeptical about this thing - too much hype and it sounded impossible for the price. That said, the combo works great - my Ridgeback Home and the gizmo itself. For reasons unknown, this god seems to have writter the owner's training manual. I could write a book about the result but let's just say it has been fun, funny, and extremely effective. It's worth the price just to see the look on Scarlett's face when an alien sends an electronic message.

I've used such collars before, several times over several decades. I have a number of dogs but only two that need corrective training beyond the traditional, so I ordered two of these based on the many curiously perfect reviews. My experience was far from perfect. The instructions consist of a tiny little piece of folded paper, and it's clear whoever wrote that English was far from their first language. Secondly, I spent 45 minutes trying to pair this collar, and it should be a relatively straightforward procedure, but it wasn't. It simply wouldn't pair. So, I'm packaging this up and sending it back. You shouldn't have to use a magnifying glass to read the poorly written directions and you shouldn't have to spend the better part of an hour unsuccessfully pairing your device.

I purchased this for our unruly 6 lb Yorkiepoo Emme( for the vibration mode)! I watched a couple of the you tube videos & am glad to say training is going great! One of the biggest things we are facing with her was she would dash out the door & not come back in until she was ready. Now she is waiting on us to take her out & is coming when called.

The Petrainer PET998DR1 Dog Training Collar Is great for my Lab/Pit mixed puppy. He isn't a bad dog, but he is pretty stubborn. This collar has been a great help in controlling his behavior. I have only had to use the vibration setting with him. It works great and the remote can control 2 collars. (Though this model only comes with one)

I was having trouble with my dog barking and not coming back to me. We live on a farm and he was always running off not listening. The Petrainer worked really well and really fast. Now all I have to do is show him the receiver and he listens and obeys. I would highly recommend this product.

I have a big presa Canario that I wanted to run on my 6 acres without going on the road. This device works great! Very affordable and the customer service is awesome!!! I highly recommend!

Arrived very quick in excellent condition. work great. Great price. You never have to use the shock part of the collar. It is nice to train them with just the sound and vibrate.
