my dog had a mole on the top of her paw that "fell off" when she was at the groomers and she started licking it and also the skin between her toes. it was an inflamed mess. these booties keep the antibiotic on and prevents her from licking herself. I dont think these are made to take the place of regular hard plastic boots to keep pups feet dry or warm outside. for our purposes tho, they work great!

Pros: the yellow velcro zip ties are great and work well with doggy bags on my dogs feet.Con: not thick more like bandage material. Not waterproof. A little water resistant but don't walk through any water. Have to shimmy them up his feet.

Our dog never liked wearing rubber booties. She just couldn’t walk normal in them. But these disposable booties are more comfortable than the rubber booties and our dog got accustomed to walking in them in a very short time. Then it felt almost natural to her. It’s great for taking a dog out for a walk after rain so you don’t track any mud back in the house. We found another use for it as well. Our dog had an infection on her lower leg that she kept licking and wouldn’t let it heal. We put this booty on her, and even though she kept licking over the booty, the booty provided enough barrier that she was able to heal. The velcro tie that comes with the booties work really well, so the booty stays on.

These booties work great. My pup had to have a toe amputation and needed to keep bandages dry. I should have bought a larger size due to bandage but just cut the front a little to slip over and they worked perfectly. Stayed on and kept bandage dry the bottom of bootie did have mud on it but none on bandage would highly recommend even just to protect dog paws from heat or snow/ice. Dog did not mind wearing and walked easily in them without any issues

So, when it was really rainy and muddy out, I made Abby wear these. While she hated them (and they were definitely not making any fashion shows), they kept mud off her paws and my carpet

Unfortunately these booties didn't fit my pups but I think they would work just fine.
