Earhoox for EarPods - Compatible with iPhone 6/6+/5/5S/5C - Black

Seriously, these made my Apple Ear Pods usable. My 'non-Apple' size ears are too large for them to stay in. OK, I had to look this up, but it's not that I have large ears... it's that the antihelical fold or antihelix is further back than what Apples ear pods require. They're super light weight and you'll forget you have them in after a little while.The Earhooxs are light weight silicone that's easy to put on and take off the Ear Pod - don't expect anything special to look at or feel... a fairly simple idea that works.I also like that you can get various colors to make your Ear Pods unique looking, instead of the same as everyone elses.As a plus, the package comes with 2 sets in sizes...That's 2 sets of Earhooxs for the price of one! :) One set for smaller ears and one for med-large ears. I was able to give the smaller ones to my wife and save some $,I rate it 4 stars because as good as these are, I'd like to go slightly up in size... just a bit more. My antihelix must be REALLY far back.By comparison, I've used in-the-ear buds for years because the Apple types of ear-buds and ear-pods just didn't fit in my ears properly and would fall out.In The Ear Buds (also called In Ear Monitors or IEM's) do seal out a LOT of sound, but your pushing sound directly into your ears. You can feel you have something in your ear and after an hour or 2-3 you just can't wait to take them off and give your ears a rest.I hadn't realized it at the time, but I was starting to lose my hearing and my voice a little over time due to this... See, you can't tell how loud your speaking if you're wearing the In The Ear kind - say on a conference call for example. I'd wind up taking 1 out for this purpose. Could be a coincidence, but I also seemed to suffer Ear/Nose/Throat infections more more while using In The Ear versions.Anyway, with these Ear Pods and the Earhooxs I'm able to work on conference calls all day without removing one. The sound is clear. Music sounds more real, and though I'm not isolated to just the music in my head I'm more alert and aware... and somehow my music sounds better. More open air sound. Sometimes I forget to take them out even... in all seriousness.So, thanks to Earhooxs I can enjoy my Ear-pods.Now if I could just find a decent replacement pair of the Ear Pods that don't have garbage reviews and sound like the OEM Apple ones I'd be thrilled! These are quite a gem for those who love their EarPods. Even if you decide to get decent earphones, I've found that the EarPods are on par with pairs in the $30-50 range. You have to really enter the Bose and Beats zone to start noticeably surpassing the EarPods sound quality.With that said, getting these things to actually stay in your ear for long listening or when your moving around can be problematic. There aren't many options out there, but these are very good and turn earphones that fall out into work out champs. They are made of a soft silicone similar to those found other ear hook earphones. The silicon is quite thin around the EarPods itself though, probably so that it doesn't make the EarPods to bulky. This means that you have to be gentle when putting them on the EarPods. Just don't stretch them more than needed. I wouldn't recommend constant on an off cycles for installing the Earhoox because they may tear.Fit wise they are comfy and they definitely stay in your ears. I haven't found them to slide around as others have said. But I decided to wipe my EarPods down with alcohol to eliminate any oils so that may have helped. The silicon make it feel nice and secure and it doesn't hinder sound quality. The only harp about these is that the slight thickness it adds makes it difficult to pin the EarPods deep into my ear. I usually have my EarPods pinned as far as they can go into my ear to get the best seal and best sound, but the Earhooks make it hard to do since its thicker. They sit very close, but do not make a full gapless seal. That of course if my personal preference and if your not the type who likes or cares to pin it in your ear than thats a non issue. I had a little silicone stragglers from the mold castings, but they were soft and didn't bother me. I found the same stragglers on higher end earphones as well so it's probably a difficult thing to eliminate completely.Overall, if you like your EarPods and want them to stay in your ear, these are it. Not many options out there, but I believe these would still be top contenders even in a full market of EarPods covers.

I use Apple's original in-ear headphones with Comply foam tips replacing the original silicone. The Comply foam tips keep the in-ear headphones snugly in place and seal out external noise beautifully. I find they're the perfect solution for me.However, I like to stash extra earbuds hear and there (backpack, car, office, etc.), in case I accidentally leave the in-ear headphones at home or the office. I have several, from the various iPods and such that I've bought over the years. Most of the older earbuds have fallen apart, leaving me with the newer EarPods.Without modification, the EarPods fall out of my ears very easily, which is maddening compared to the results I get with the Comply tips noted above. I don't know if it's a matter of size or if the plastic is simply too slippery against my skin. I can shove the EarPods into my ear canal a bit -- not enough to touch my eardrum, of course -- and I get very good sound quality. Unfortunately, the things just pop out or slip out within minutes if I'm sitting still, and they pop out almost instantly if I'm actively moving. I can hang them, sort of, in my earlobe, but that's insecure, and the sound isn't as good. Ultimately, using the EarPods without modification makes me hold my head infuriatingly still, consciously or not.I bought the Earhoox and stretched them on. The fit is now very secure, and I can move around without thinking of the EarPods falling out. They come in two sizes, and the silicone is soft enough that I think I can use either size without discomfort. I use the large size, but the smaller size seems close enough that I could possibly use it as well.One thing I don't get is a seal inside the ear canal, like I get with the in-ear headphones or with the unmodified EarPods pushed into the canal. The hook at the top seems to force a particular position that does not include a good seal.

Fits in my ears perfectly. Would have liked the hoox to be a bit more secure in the earphone so that it never comes off. It comes of when you try to take the earphone out from a packed bag and it is pulled hard when it was squeezed between stuff. Other than that I'm really satisfied with this accessory.

Absolutely perfect! My EarPods used to really hurt my ears & fall out - they now fit snug & pain-free! Loved them so much I bought another pair the next day for my other set :)

its an amazing product. Does what it should - earbuds stay secure in the ear.I just wish to have a mid size delivered, too. The large size is a bit too big and the small too small. Something in between would be great!

These are simple and brilliant. Apple designed their IPhone 6 earbuds for gorillas and after a few weeks of them always falling out and prompting a few colourful remarks from me I got these and they work perfectly. Problem solved!

great product! makes the iPhone headphones much more useful! occasionally they slip off and send a panic through me when I think I've lost one, but it always seems to turn up in the pocket. Wish the main body, the part that attaches to the ear bud, was stiffer to prevent them form coming off easily. Otherwise awesome
