NoCry Stubby Ratcheting Screwdriver Kit with 12-in-1 Mini Bit Set including Flathead, Hex, Torx and Pozidriv Tips

This thing is in my pocket whenever I leave the house. Simple to use, easy to operate, reliable. I'll always have a pocket-sized ratcheting screwdriver on me for the rest of my life.

I’m very pleased with this purchase. The bits are easy to access and stay secure when stored, and it has a great variety of bits. This tool is perfect for my laptop bag when I travel for work because it’s compact and can go through airport security.Some reviewers say it feels cheap but I don’t agree - it is plastic yes but the ratchet feels good and the tool feels pretty solid. The bits are both secure and easy to access. A tool like this is not meant for 8 hours a day 7 days a week use, so I think it’s just about perfect for what it is.

A very well made screwdriver, nice design, small and compact, but in one area - too small.The lever to change direction of rotation is poorly designed - hard to change, especially with thick thumbs which do not touch the slider. Widening the recess so the thumb rests directly on lever would get it a full 5 stars.

I like having a total of twelve bit ends. They are sufficient to fit, guestimate, 95 percent of the many different wood screws I use in woodworking. The handle fits my hand, the ratchet works well, and the simple spring-loaded ball bearing bit retention feature has just the right compromise between secure bit retention and ease of bit insertion. This screwdriver appears to be an updated version of an older same-size unit I have that is slightly less refined. I like the new one better. It is also more colorful with a red and black color scheme. The data card that came with the screwdriver urges the buyer to "share an honest review on Amazon." I am happy to do that, and I paid full price for the screwdriver. As a much later followup (9/2/2019) I note that the set has no square drive bits. These are much more common in my work than the three hex-bit ends that are included in the kit. I suggest that No Cry make the change to include square drive bits #1 and #2.

I really like the quality of the ratcheting, easy to access driver magazine, and overall feel when in use. I came here to purchase three more for gifts and found that this isn't available anymore unfortunately.

The screw driver is small in size, smaller than most ratcheting screwdriver from other brands. It's light weight and easy to carry in a tool bag, and always available when I need it. The bit holder and changer is easy to use as well. Overall it's a handy tool to have.

I purchased 2 of these units in January 2019 because I needed a small and versatile multi-head screwdriver that would fit in my bag. I was looking for the mechanical locking ones not the magnetic ones. They work very well for my application. I feel that they will last quite a while.I had a small problem with one of the screwdrivers when the ball bearing that locks the bits in fell out because the metal clip that holds it in was rotated to a position where the ball bearing was forced out. Considering all the other things that are in my bag, tools, keys, etc, it was easy to figure out what happened.I contacted NoCry and communicated with Raino about my problem.They were unable to provide me with a replacement ball bearing per my query because that is not something that they carry in stock, but they are sending me a replacement screwdriver instead.I have nothing but good things to say about the fast response from the company in contacting me and resolving the problem beyond my expectations. Raino was a pleasure to deal with and was extremely helpful. I give them a "10" on their Customer service!As an added note, I am using a piece of shrink tubing around the shaft and over the spring clip to keep from accidently losing another ball bearing in the future. I don't see this as a design flaw, just me putting the unit through a lot of rough handling. Thanks again Raino!

Amazon has it for $25. Home Depot has it, $15. It has all the advantages of all the reviewed drivers and none of the downsides, except that it is a longer than some at 4.25" with the bit.PROS: Quality construction. Magnetic bit tip retention. Magazine bits are visible to aid selection. Ratcheting.CONS: A little long 4.25". Great so far nice and compact fits in my pocket nicely. Only issue I’ve found is sometimes you have to search for the bit you need because you can only see what’s on the top side of the bit and not the bottom otherwise it’s great.

It's perfect for carrying in my bag, the only downside to it is that no square bits come with it. That however isn't much of an issue since standard bits work just fine and can also be store in the revolving compartment. The ratcheting action is smooth and the forward/neuter/backward selector for it is well placed and never in the way. It grips nicely and fits perfectly in the hand, this screwdriver is just as comfortable and easy to use as one with a fully sized handle.

Gute Größe, um es immer dabei zu haben, gute Auswahl an Bits. Machen auch qualitativ einen ordentlichen Eindruck. Ratschen-Mechanismus funktioniert 1A. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
