Perfect for Beginners Getting Started at Home
I’ve only had the band and bar set for a few days, but it’s already made a big difference to my workouts. As a beginner, I wanted something simple to get started with at home without needing loads of equipment and this was exactly what I needed. The bar feels really sturdy and the resistance bands are strong but not intimidating. Everything clips together easily and I didn’t feel overwhelmed setting it up (which I often do with fitness gear!). I’ve mainly been doing squats, shoulder presses, and rows, it’s all been really smooth and I like that I can adjust the resistance as I build confidence. I’ve found there’s lots of content to use and a coach to answers any questions you have which is super useful especially when new. I also appreciate how compact it is. I live in a small space, so having something I can quickly set up and pack away makes a huge difference in keeping me motivated to stay consistent. If you’re new to working out and want to build strength at home without needing a full gym setup, I’d definitely recommend giving this a go. It’s been a great way to ease into resistance training without the pressure.

Super....
Brilliant. Use it daily. Picking the best resistance is so easy. Combine colours or just use one type. Highly recommend.

So far so good
I've only had this for one week so can't comment on longevity but I can review the product as is Firstly I believe you'd be better off with the all in one set rather than the band + bar. You're quite limited with what you can do with just the band and bar but the HIIT bands are essentially tube style resistance bands that you can get elsewhere so it opens up a whole world of exercises. They are good quality too, and I can stand on them bare foot with hurting my feet like what happens with other tube bands. I'm experienced enough with tube bands to know exactly what exercises to do. I don't feel like Gymproluxe helps you figure out a routine or what exercises you can do that much so you'll have to research that yourself. The bar is fantastic quality. I wish I had one ages ago because it's a game changer for training with resistance bands. Very sturdy and comfortable to grip. Downside is like another reviewer said is that 90kg here will not feel like 90kg in weights. With resistance bands, the stated resistance is at max stretch of the band where as weights is a consistent weight. So dont expect doing 90kg bench press with this kit to translate over to a 90kg at a gym. This also leads me to believe any serious trainer will outgrow this kit. Luckily I have some loop resistance bands so that I can hook around the bar to use in conjunction with this kit so I can keep making progress. Not ideal though with the biggest selling point of this being the bench press and rows. I'd recommend Gymproluxe to someone without any workout equipment as it has a variety of resistance bands and the bar which unlocks a whole host of exercises. However I'm not sure this is a big upgrade over buying another set of resistance bands off here. If you already own them then just buy a bar and you're all set.

Love it - hate the gym !
Excellent peice of kit for those who don’t like the gym , you can take it anywhere and takes up next to no room at all … the only flaw is that when you buy it from Amazon , the app you get won’t load as not brought direct from shopify …. You have to email the customer service team who make the equipment which took about 3 days

Broken in 3 weeks
Nice bit of equipment however. The actual pad that you can use to stand on or use for rowing/ leg press etc. it's too small to fit your feet side by side comfortably. The band itself slipped out of the grip and is not stuck in the fabric and I can't seem to get it back to the end of the band to fix it. Nice idea but it lasted 3 weeks

Good investment
Really pleased with it. The bands have great resistance. I found going on you tube is best to follow the exercises

Portable Gym with Promise, but Not for Everyone
My initial thoughts were positive. The setup is straightforward and some of the exercises genuinely gave me a good workout, especially for lighter strength and mobility sessions. It’s compact, easy to store, and clearly designed with convenience in mind. That said, the experience is a bit mixed. Some exercises felt effective and engaging, while others didn’t provide enough resistance to feel worthwhile. In terms of value for money, it’s a yes and no. The included lifetime subscription is a nice touch, but it feels limited, and the app strongly pushes a premium subscription, which seems to be where the “full experience” really lives. Will I keep it? Possibly not. It’s a clever concept and may suit beginners or those wanting very portable workouts, but it didn’t fully replace other training options for me. Pros: Compact and easy to store Some exercises deliver a solid workout Quick to set up and beginner-friendly Lifetime subscription included at purchase Cons: Workout quality varies between exercises Resistance can feel limited App feels restricted without the premium subscription Full value seems locked behind additional cost Overall, a decent idea with potential, but whether it’s worth it really depends on your fitness goals and how much you’re willing to rely on the app ecosystem.

I picked up the Gymproluxe Portable Gym to work out at home, and I was honestly surprised by how much you can do with it. The bands feel strong, the bar is comfortable, and it’s easy to adjust the resistance depending on the workout or how tired you are that day. I like that I can get a solid full-body workout without needing a lot of space or setting up heavy equipment. It’s been a convenient way to stay consistent, especially on days I don’t feel like going to the gym.

I love this thing. I use it mostly for arms and back workouts. Very handy, and can be used for so many other workouts. If you only have 15-20 minutes of times, this really comes into play.
