Very sturdy (metal, not plastic) and easy to install with clear instructions. We just moved to a state where it gets really cold in the winter and this triple flap doggie door has kept my guys nice and toasty with no cold air leaking in. The magnets work great! We actually installed this in a sliding glass door without any issues, doubled up 3/4 inch plywood in the door frame. We also love that it can be locked from either inside or outside. It works perfectly and we're very happy with our purchase!

This is an amazing door. Strong, sturdy and the door is absolutely weather proof. It is in my back door, on the west side of my house, with no overhang, with direct storm impact. The thing I like most about this door is that it has no cheesy interior parts and the metal parts meet in the middle. I had installed another one, highly rated and nearly the same price as this one, a month before. I have had many dog doors and this one is superior to any other I have had and worth the price.

I hemmed and hawed and researched every door out there prior to buying, i was replacing a dog door tht was by pet safe that sucked, didnt seal and let in tons of air, so the double flap was a real bonus, and let me tell you-this door is AWESOME! The locking panel is a huge bonus if your worried about security, but honesty Ive never used it because my door is a small one and with the flaps and the weather seal around them, I never feel a draft, the doors have a magnent that actually works even though the dogs go in and out all day. Side note I did insulate all around the door with spray foam an sealed around it with caulking on the inside and out but no air gets in or out and no bugs or anything-just the dogs. This door is so worth the money. Its adjustable, and after having it for almost a year, it still looks new and is in great shape. Best money ever spent for a dog item.

We got this door back in June for our dogs, but it only lasted 5 months before the screws began to strip out. I contacted the seller, and they quickly responded with a new product and sincere apology. The new door was easily installed and has been working great. Great customer service and hoping the new door will be the answer.

Very well built for the price! We’ve replaced a XL petsafe door every 18-24 months and just had enough. This one is much sturdier and seals so much better with the third flap! It arrived quickly! Installation was easy, it had the needed hardware, I just added 2x4 framing around it and sealed it all together. It requires a larger hole than you’d expect, use their instructions… The XL fits our giant German Shepherd (everyone thinks he’s a Newfoundland because he is so tall and fluffy) perfectly. We thought our only option was a fancy $1,000 unit, nope! This is perfect! Will buy again, if we ever need to other than flaps in a year!

This was a a great bye, a little coxing with treats and my dogs now go outside in there dog kenale by themselves to go potty. No more cleanup in the house.

I was prepered to give it 5 stars. Although I found it quite well built, with understandable installation instructions, my issue is that the description states it will fit a 3 9/16" wall. NOT. My wall is 4" thick where I installed it, and I had to remove the inner half and cut a 1/2" strip off the top of the telescoping box section to make the outer piece mesh with the inner, and to be flush to wall. This also causes the inner flap to needs a spacer to be made to fit, as the outer half protrudes too far in, past where inner flap mounts. A little irritating, but I have the tools and know-how. Many people that have the same issue may not. Update. My 15 puund cat fits through ok, but I can guarantee a 40 pound animal would not. I recommend the next size up for that size animal.
