Give how uncommon it is for reinforcing brackets to be made out anything other than metal, it seems disingenuous that you really need to dig through alot of words to find the material type. It's like making a frying pan out of plastic and expect you to go check the materials it's made of.

Useful for reinforcing a panel to post fit, but they are plastic and can snap (one has already)

Really handy these are to secure the gates together, much needed

Even though the product page does say these are made from recycled plastic, I imagine some folk won't read that bit before purchasing. Honestly I'd have liked them to be metallic, but I appreciate they're made from recycled sources.They claim to help stop fence panel removal, which they do, to a degree. I happen to have larger, thicker panels and I cant help but feel the screws might give way if anyone tried to life out a panel due to the weight of them. Maybe, maybe not, honestly I haven't hopped the fence into my neighbours to test out my theory. They would make it more difficult to lift out a panel for sure, just uncertain if the screws are strong enough to take the weight of heavier panels.For cutting down on wind rattle they do a good job though. Again, I have larger panels and they catch the wind easily. They have cut down on that. I will take a photo next time I'm home and update this review accordingly.

Our fence posts have been in-situ for years. We used to have cheap wooden feather board panels, but they never last, no matter how well you look after them. We now have composite boards - the size of gravel boards they're lightweight and easy to install, but some are a shade less wide than feather board panels - there are a few gaps, and the boards rattle, which bothers me.These plastic brackets are just the job, they're sturdy and well made, and because they're not metal there are no nasty sharp edges. We are not the 'handiest' people, but these are so simple to install even we managed it. There are no screws included - presumably because different screws are needed for different materials, but that wasn't an issue for us. We adjusted the boards so there was as little gap as possible then screwed the brackets in place - took seconds. The boards are now securely in place and won't move. Brilliant.At £14.99 for twenty brackets (as at 2 September 2023) these are an absolute bargain, I'm thrilled with them and would recommend to anyone concerned about security or rattling fence panels.
