Holds the temperature!
Takes some “getting used to”. But, it is worth the wait! Very impressed with the long time the container holds the temperature 😊

One month use
Within the first week I dropped it. The unit is extremely durable and has continued to function very well. I am using it nearly everyday between work and travel. It filters the water very well.

Meh it’s ok…
Update 11/21: I’m changing it to 4 stars. This thing grew on me after awhile. Still a bit pricey with some design flaws, but I like it now. We just needed to figure out the ratios to our liking. We put about 2 TBS of freshly ground coffee and it seems to work just fine. Still it’s not an expresso kind of coffee but more of an americano. We are using this more as it gets colder and we find the coffee to be pretty good. We pour the coffee out into a cup though like pitcher. We added our warm milk to the coffee cup. I can not see letting the coffee sitting for so long, so I would say take it to work and use it in the morning, but don’t let it sit all day. Although it did stay rather warm when I realized there was some coffee left over later in the day. Of course it was bitter! So I wouldn’t recommend keeping the coffee for a few hours letting it brew. Unless your are into bitter off tasting coffee (no judgement). It’s actually fine and good quality. But I recommend pouring the brewed coffee into a cup then add all your preferences. Let it brew for at least 3 min or longer though. I said the coffee was bad, but after i figured out the rations with some good fresh beans, it’s actually quite nice. But you still can’t do expresso in here!So I take it back, it’s not a bad item if you want americano kind of coffee. Just wish it was a little less expensive.Earlier review: I mean it’s ok, but it’s not great. I guess this will be nice for someone who makes just regular american coffee. But if you want expresso then this isn’t right for you. This doesn’t seem to leak, so it would be good for a trip (but I wouldn’t trust it in my bag) and it’s sturdy so far and nice looking item. No coffee grounds in the coffee, which is nice. But I can see this has some design flaws. These are the ones I noticed. First it’s difficult to pull back up once you push the plunger down, but I suppose why would need to pull it back up once you add coffee and water. Also I noticed a lot of extra good coffee liquid gets stuck under the plunger (see photos), so it’s sort of wasteful. It doesn’t leave much space if you wanted to add milk either, you would have to open it and pull the plunger back up (which I tried but the coffee again was still pretty bad). I suppose you can pour it on the top. If you want bad 7/11 coffee this is right for you jajajaja. Someone else pointed out the coffee will keep brewing and then leave you with bitter even more gross tasting coffee.

Great for loose leaf tea brewing!
It took me a little bit to get used to this dual filter, but it is now my go to for loose leaf tea brewing! There is no leaf dust left in the bottom of the mug when i pour it in my cup.

Since Dec 2020
My only coffee brewer. Silicone plunger still in one piece. Need a cup at least once a day for my asthma and my eyelids. Worth the price imo

Works. More like a thermos due to screw on lid.
Works as advertised. Smaller volume than my previous 4 presses. When considering this I couldn’t tell for certain how sipping worked. Flip up lid (preferable), or detachable lid like a thermos…not preferred. No photos or descriptions made that clear and seeing no pics of a flipped up lid I assumed the worst. It’s detachable, so more like a thermos, with a lid to lose all over the house, yards, in my various cars and trucks. I should probably see if I can order a replacement pack of lids now. Maybe add an air tag. Sips well though once you unscrew the thermos lid. I needed something in a rush and this seemed to have the fewest faults. Took a while to remember which direction to unscrew the stacking filters for cleaning…not intuitive. Two filters to rinse each time. Some assembly required ;) Does seem to filter the best of all my past units, but DO NOT COME CLOSE TO OVERFILLING. A mess. With these portable presses I find stirring the grounds to get them to sink helps with reducing overflow and reduces filter clogging as you press the filter down. 3 stars as lid was left unclear in the ad, and in anticipation of losing it soon.

Best EVER!!!! DO IT and you'll never look back!
I first had a cup of delicious coffee with this filtration while at a friends house last weekend. She has 7 different types of coffee making machines in her home ranging from $100-$3000. She is very versed and made me a cup with most of them. I was looking for the thickness of an espresso shot, but as a cup of coffee, not a shot. The body of the cup is really important to me. I'd rather not have coffee at all than to drink gross thin coffee. I'll admit, the overall experience of food and beverage holds a lot of weight with me.I can't have creamer, so I use coconut cream instead, and I can't have sugar, don't use Neem honey. What I can't stand about French pressed coffee is the sludge. Yuck. Besides, after the first couple sips, what was once the "body" I enjoy, settles at the bottom into the sludge. Gross. Not with this! You will enjoy a stable consistency throughout your entire cup. Love it!Why I bought this and recommend you do too: sometimes I just want one cup, and I only need one, if it's good and strong and delightful! This affords me the best of many worlds. I got a wonderful pricing point with the ability to pack it around and make a cup wherever I want! Finally I can have an amazing cup, any where I want! I can store grounds in the container and leave the house to meet a friend, and just add water when I get there! Think about it... Even a gas station has hot water you can use... It's a win at $35.Sure, I'd love to have the 32 ounce, but there's no need and it's not as mobile as this. The friend who introduced me to this, bought hers from an actual roasting plant. She works at Starbucks and we both agreed this was the best cup far beyond the verismo AND the Starbucks stainless steel fresh press. For $35, I got everything I wanted and don't mind having to make each cup separately. If I find that I need the bigger, I'd happily buy the 32 ounce and not blink twice. This is still something phenomenal to have in my kitchen.I didn't want something that took up a lot of space, this is compact and takes up no space, and clean up is simple!Unlike most coffee makers or presses, there is more oil expressed, so it's not a simple rinse, but that's ok, because you just had a cup of joe you can't even get anywhere else... Don't have to wait in any lines and saving myself a TON of money!!!I am a Starbucks gold member till 2024 due to the points I've accumulated in the past year on coffee. That's a crap ton of money they got from me and so this is a steal. There is no compromise here. I'd rather have a cup from this little gadget ANYDAY over any cup ANY Barista has ever served me.Just get it. You can thank me in YOUR review :)I did a video for it, but wasn't able to upload it :/ so I included pics. The packaging also is great for gift giving.
