I was surprised at how small this was when it arrived, however, we plugged it in but forgot about it and left it on overnight on our patio. My, oh my! It did quite a job overnight!!! It attracted so many nighttime bugs! My husband and I had to pick up our mouths from the floor!!! not uv light uv light attracts drain flys and coffin fly's and moths, this is just a blues led this is why it does not work or attract those tiny pest. uv light does not work on fruit fly's you need to use vinegar and sticky traps. the item is not as described its just a night light in blue, but you can attach sticky trap to it and turn lights off and drain flys and coffin fly's and moths will be attracted to to it and land on your sticky traps with the light. as you can see one tiny fly got stuck on the sticky trap. but the light zapper does nothing

They have made the Earth pin on the plug shorter than the Live & Neutral pins. On UK plugs the Earth pin is longer than the other two to open the safety shutters on the socket. It's impossible to plug them into a UK socket.See the white plug in the photo, the black plug is a standard UK plug for comparison.
