Would definitely buy again!
We actually purchased this to utilize as a chick brooder for our spring chicks this year. My opinion as a dog owner listed below Aswell. So far It has worked great for us!! The multiple door access has been very convenient for accessing and cleaning. It was very easy to set up, stable enough for every day wear and tear but flexible enough to easy fit through doorways without completing taking down. We purchased the largest size and are very happy with it.As a dog owner with two 45lbs border collies, I would no use this for them. It's far to short and they would not be able to stand up fully. Entry of space for laying down, but just not enough height. Something to keep in mind for sizing your dog.

Solid and convenient
I love this! It’s smaller than those octagon style popups but fits better in my space and is much more sturdy. Currently fostering 3 kittens aged 2-3 months and this is the perfect size for their “bedroom” at night. I don’t trust unsupervised kittens! It’s easy to set up and holds a litter box, bed, and food dishes comfortably. It’s sturdy enough that it doesn’t collapse if kittens jump on top and even if they land juuuust right that the side folds in, it pops right back up into place once the kitten hops off.Set up takes a few minutes to get all the rods in, same with putting it away, but it’s easy enough if you only need it for a short time. Make sure you remove the rods before you collapse it back down to put away! When I put it away the first time I was surprised that I was actually able to get it to fold just right to fit back in the carrying case. Overall a great purchase. In terms of size, it works great for cats and kittens and I’d feel ok leaving my 45lb Aussie mix in it for a few hours if he needed to be crated for something but I think the height is a little short for anything bigger than that to comfortably stand up and turn around. Probably not ideal for 60lb+ dogs even at this largest size.

Also useful as a foster kitten kennel
I actually used this for a foster kitten and found that it worked quite nicely as a short-term kennel. It seems like most pet playpens are hexagonal in shape, which I have not found very practical for organizing or cleaning. The rectangular shape made it simpler to tuck bedding, food/water bowls, and a litter box into separate corners. Kittens tend to make a mess when litter box training, so I used both washable whelping and disposable pee pads on the bottom to make daily cleaning more efficient and keep the bottom of the playpen itself unsoiled. And since whelping and disposable pads are usually rectangular, it's far easier to fit them neatly into a rectangular playpen than a hexagonal one.The medium sized playpen (approx. 31x23x21") was perfect for the foster kitten when she was very small, but once she was about 8 weeks old it was clear that she needed more kennel space. She became accustomed to being able to run around a room with some older foster kittens and explore the common areas of the home while supervised, so being stuck in the kennel at night must have started to feel restrictive. She became restless and vocal in her objections. So I transferred her to the large size (approx. 43x33x23") of same kennel, and she was much more content with her accommodations after the upgrade.Assembly is quick and easy. The vertical support rods make the sides pretty sturdy, and the only real structural weakness is the top. The other foster kittens would jump up and run across it, pushing the middle down. The 12 pound resident cat attempted it once, and it pushed the top down to the bottom like an elephant sitting on a small trampoline. It's just not built to have weight exerted on it. The side panels made of netting snagged a little but held up surprisingly well to the tiny death blades when she climbed up them "Ninja Warrior" contestant-style. After the foster kitten was adopted, trying to fold the shell back into the proper flat shape to fit into the storage pouch proved to be the biggest issue I had with this product. I tried to follow both the diagram and the written instructions, but repeatedly couldn't get it quite right. I ended up with a slightly wonky result and concluded, "Oh well, that's probably good enough..."

Goes together quickly and ends up being pretty sturdy - using for baby chicks right now
We bought this to give our baby chicks a little more room to run around. It's been great so far and has kept them contained very well. The zipper top is a huge benefit so they can't get out if we don't want them to. The sides are quite sturdy once you put the included poles in their slots and it holds it's shape very well. I've only folded it up and stored it once - just to see if I could do it and it took a couple tries, even after watching the video, but finally got it back into the same package it came in, so I'm good with that. Overall, it's very sturdy, but if you're going to have something clawing at the mesh sides like a cat or dog, I don't think they will hold up well and will just shred, but we've only used it for chickens so far. For the price, I'm really happy with this purchase and it's a really good size for what we need.

Portable and convenient!
I purchased this product prior to getting my new puppy at Christmas. I work in an office setting and am able to keep my puppy with me several days out of the week. The playpen is the perfect size to keep her secure and allows her to be able to see me at all times, which really comes in handy when you’ve got an anxious new puppy afraid to be alone. She’s gotten used to it fast and I don’t have to worry about her hurting herself trying to jump out or bite through (she’s tried!) I love how you can keep the side door open and close the top so that she can come and go as she pleases (which is important, so she’s not afraid of it or hate it) but also can stay in place when I have patients coming in. It’s easily transported, assembled/disassembled and great quality, durability. Definitely worth it! I’d recommend and absolutely buy again.

This thing is STURDY!
What a great pen. Very sturdy and fits a full litter box and food and bed. Clips to lock the zippers are a PLUS!
