Ben 10: Ultimate Alien - Vol. 1 [DVD] [2011]

when cartoon network finished ben 10 alien force, my son and i was a bit upset. but then came the announcement that they were making another series called ben 10 ultimate alien. we were both excited!!! i bought my son the whole series boxset of alien force for his xmas present and thought i would give ultimate alien a try. i was suprised with the reaction. ben 10 ultimate alien is a bit scarrier and more darker. ben has grown up a lot but now we see him in a more humane way. every1 knows bout his powers, he has a girlfriend and his grandpa max is back. this is the first few episodes of the new series and have seen more episodes on cartoon network. keep up the good work guys!!!!

My son (aged 5) is Ben 10 mad and was desperate for this to arrive. He was not disappointed.Sadly I know far more about Ben 10 than I would ever care too but it's not about me.Volume 2 now on pre order.

A bit expensive for 5 episodes. 😐

The Ben 10 has started showing cracks in the quality of its storytelling and animation style but it is not the low point that omniverse was. Ultimate alien doesn't rely so much on good story arc and it's filler episodes are a little.... Childish. I know this is a kid's dvd and I'm sure some kids will love it. But for a Ben 10 fan this series is a little bit of a let down from the alien force series. It seems that the writers are trying to recapture the feel of the original series, but instead of the characters being relatable kids / teen-agers, they just come across as whining idiots sometimes. The character building made in alien force is all but forgotten and Ben pretty much unlikable half the time. Gwen and Kevin are sidelined most of the time and are just there for exposition. It's not bad by any means, but not as good as alien force. The animation is far less crisp than the of series or alien force and it seems pretty phoned in to be honest. Don't get wrong. I still like this series but alien force was when this show peaked in my opinion.

My son is obsessed with Ben 10. This DVD completed his set. He was thrilled. Arrived before date given so he was thrilled.

My granddaughter loved it Would recommend to all.

This book is total rubbish. It just does not work and is very disappointing for small children. The colours are awful and all look the same. Do not buy this product
