The sling I was sent home in after bicep tendon surgery was hurting my neck after one day. This was a fantastic upgrade. It fit my arm when it was still swollen, when I had the cold therapy machine wrapped around my arm, and when leaving the house. It was a bit tricky to figure out how to put it on the first few times. The manufacturers had videos on this Amazon listing and on YouTube that made it easier. We never used the slip for the thumb and arm but it didn't affect how it functions or supports. I feel like it has very versatile support points so if one didn't work, there were ample alternatives.One tip to avoid frustration: when you're not wearing it, hang it up. I didn't the first few times and it got twisted, the velcro stuck in the wrong place, it was a nightmare getting it back to the right shape. We hung it over two simple Command hooks (I'm sure a hanger would work just as well) and never had that issue again.

This is a great product that is very comfortable to wear. If you get the right size. I had to return the original delivery because though I checked the right size I left the page to see something about the product and when I returned the default size of medium which for me was too small had been elected. I didn't catch thatThe fabric is light, padded, I'm very comfortable. The length of the trough for your forearm varies according to the size that you order and the right size makes a difference. The supporting straps also vary according to size and that is very important. Make sure you buy according to their sizing table

This worked really well. It did what it was supposed to and I'm so grateful that I got it when I did.

What a difference! Will need a sling for approx 6 weeks. The one the surgery center gave me isn't going to work. This one is so much more comfortable. Easy to adjust and stays put! The extra strap on the back is a game changer!!

Love this sling but it just a little too long for me, it ease to use, it's also adjustable but not to my preference the fabric is soft and breathable

What a relief!! This is perfect for my broken collarbone!! It is such an improvement over the basic sling the emergency room gave me...shoulder strap is padded, the adjustments are easy, and the strap around my back really immobilize my shoulder. I was able to sleep in my bed instead of a recliner.

I have 2 torn tendons of my rotator cuff and split tearing of my biceps tendon, with biceps cramping at times. This sling is so comfortable and holds my arm in a position to decrease the cramping. It is long enough to fully support my wrist and hand. I can put the sling on one-handed, which is a necessity. I am anticipating having shoulder surgery soon and know I will need to keep my arm in a sling for a few weeks I’m glad this sling is easy to put on.

This sling was definitely not what I expected. It has almost no adjustability at all. The places where you would naturally like to adjust it, namely the main one over the shoulder, are actually stitched closed. Should be velcro there. Also for this reason, you have to place the sling over your head and shoulder then lift your arm into the sling support. Be aware if you have a painful shoulder injury and cannot move your arm away from your body except for a small degree (like a rotator cuff injury, for example), it is excruciatingly painful to put on. I would not recommend at all.
