TechnoTrade Import-Export GmbH Technoline Mobile Alerts 10100 Temperature Analyzer White

Having previously bought two Technoline remote temperature/ humidity kits (base unit and 2 sensors each - 1 base unit is a spare) I wanted to expand the system. I was not too bothered re humidity monitoring so went for this temperature sensor. It was easy to set up by scanning its QR code with the app on my mobile phone. Sensor info is also available online for viewing on a browser if you enter your phone id. So now I have 5 sensors monitoring the shed, garage, greenhouse, loft, porch, and kitchen which I can view at anytime and from anywhere. It also alerts you via the app if the temperature or humidity values go outside the limits you set e.g. if your loft temperature went below freezing. Not seen anything else on the market of comparable functionality / cost.

I have a number of gauges all linked up to their controlling app, and from that via IFTTT devices. They all work as hoped/expected. Wi-fi range is very good as long as you don't place any receivers or transmitters where the line of sight might get reflected off glass (e.g. windows). I couldn't work out why the temperature/humidity sensor in my wine cave kept dropping until I realised that the Mobile-Alerts hub was on an angle behind a window - all works fine now. When you reboot your broadband you have to reboot this too, my only niggle, but small and once you realise it not too big an issue.Big tick from me.
