The shaker leaks. No, not from where the two cup meet, from the bottom. Obviously, not manufactured well. Unusable.Update: seller has offered a full refund for defective product. Very much appreciate the offer and quick response. Refund issued. Given the good reviews, I assume this was just a one-off situation.

Handy set fit for home use. The auxiliary equipment that comes with the shaker is of good quality, the bar spoon especially is the perfect length and has been used extensively. I would have preferred a jigger that came with measurements, but the lip helps avoid spilling when pouring into another container. I have had zero issues with leakage as long as I ensure the shaker top and cap are snug and held correctly. Every piece included is very easy to clean. I'd say this set is perfect for those who are starting out and want to start sensibly before investing in more expensive equipment.

I got this cocktail set because I lacked a bar spoon and muddler and because the top of my old cobbler shaker went missing. I still haven't found the top of the first shaker, and now the tin is missing as well, so it's a good thing I got this one.To put this shaker through its paces, I decided to make a drink that required both dry and wet shaking, a standard gin fizz. The shaker retained a good seal without excessive effort on my part through both shakes. It came out of the wash without any deformity and had no obvious defects on opening for that matter.I wanted to test the muddler, too, so I made a mint julep. Being stainless steel, it held up just fine, and the teeth of the muddler made short work of my mint. I overdid it a little, but that was my error.The bar spoon is functional but remains excessive for my everyday needs. My stirred drinks usually require only a short-handled teaspoon, but that's not the product's fault. The mint julep was the perfect opportunity to test it, but, again, I overdid it, combining the ingredients a little too much. I'm positive that wasn't the spoon's fault. The handle of the spoon was more than long enough to stir this drink. The spoon sits steady on the stand at the end of its handle, so no worries there. It also stands up to washing, being solid stainless steel.The jigger is engraved with the manufacturer's name, which is a nice touch. The choice of size for this jigger is odd, but would be useful for more complicated drinks (maybe tiki drinks) with small volumes of a large number of ingredients.All in all, this has everything you'd absolutely need to get started with a home bar, except maybe a finer strainer than what's built into the cobbler shaker. Just be aware, again, that the jigger will be perfectly adequate but maybe unwieldy for most drinks.

It's very thin metal. Beyond that it's ok for the price.
