can't get enough of Gloria

Laura has been gone for a long time now and it’s so sad. Most of her music was mostly in the 80’s. The world lost a fantastic singer who died way too soon. She was a such a wonderful person and she was so very humble.

So sad this bright star was snuffed out way too young.

One of my favorite singers. Had a combination of her best hits

Laura Branigan was voice that was so powerful and clear, a truly talented singer. She burst on the musical hit stage with GLORIA that was a showcase for her voice and an outstanding song. How Am I Supposed to Live Without You is another of her dynamic hits, demonstrating her vocal range, outstanding. She was just emerging as one of the 80's greatest talents when the world lost her but her music lives on and is just as impressionable today as it was then.Each of her songs on this CD are marvel by themselves and to have them put together is a treat. I could take each and every song of the 18 songs that are recorded here and comment on it, but that would bore you, the reader, so I will only comment on a few. Solitaire is one of my favorites. It demonstrates her wide range of notes and the dynamism of her voice. Power of Love is another song that will get you deep down. Celine Dion did this song so well but I truly think Laura's rendition is even better. Actually both singers have much in common. This is one of those CD's that I like to crank up full volume when my husband is out of the house (he's a t.v. nut).If you're looking for a good solid CD full of dynamic songs, then this is the one for you. I shake my head when I think about where she could have gone and what she could have accomplished with her talent. Gone too soon.

Laura has a beautiful voice and this CD has a lot of her songs.

This CD is just unbelievably the BEST CD I've ever listened to! It includes all of her greatest hits plus some that are less familiar but nonetheless still great songs!I absolutely LOVE this CD! One of the best ever! Laura Branigan really knocked this one "out of the ballpark"! This CD is so good I purchased two of them! PLUS...you get 18 great songs on this CD for a very reasonable price. So sad Laura is no longer with us.😢 She was an exceptional recording artist with so much talent & a fabulous voice.

Brilliant. Her death meant a terrible loss to the world of good singers. A wonderful voice, she was never given the material that she was capable of handling. Two memorable songs was not enough. She could have done so much more with the right songs. I'm playing "The Power of Love " at my little cousins' wedding, to start the dancing. She's never heard it. Should bring the house down. Anyone not dancing will be crying. Great words and a beautiful voice. Sadly missed.

A really goog album. I bought it as i have always liked the track "Gloria". You will not be disappointed

This album features all the great tracks from Laura Brannigan - Gloria, Self Control, Shattered Glass - but sadly not the 12" remix. Also includes the power ballard Never In a Million Years which was later made into an hi-nrg dance tarck by Vicki Shepherd on Loading Bay records. Buy it even if only for hearing this.

Quite a lot of songs on here I love and her voice is beautiful.
