My galloping fool loves her new boots
The media could not be loaded. I got these yesterday and my first impression were they look hilarious on my Goldendoodle and she walked funny in them. Initially I didn’t have them strapped tightly enough so they spun around on one of her paws so the key is making sure it’s strapped snug. Once she got acclimated she ran around like a banshee on crack and actually became very excited to run outside with them and she did just that. Will see how well these handle all this abuse. They are very easy to put on and off which is the reason why we chose these over all the others available.

Best shoes I have found
I usually don't like to review a product until I have owned it several months to make sure it is durable, but I am going to go ahead and review this product after a month. I will update later if the shoes should turn out not to be durable. However, so far, I LOVE these shoes. The sizing might be a little off, but I actually ordered the size for my dog's front paws to try first. As you know, most dog's back feet are smaller than their front. My 95 lb. GSD actually has very narrow feet in the back. First, let me tell you that I have been diligently trying to find shoes for her for the past 4 years. None of them fit correctly - when I got the right length, they were so wide that she would step on them and walk right out of them. Then, most manufacturers don't get that 90% of dogs have front dew claws, and it is not okay to have fasteners run across them causing friction when they walk. This manufacturer actually gets it. These shoes are designed with your dog's comfort in mind. I LOVE that they are designed with neoprene fabric, which allows stretch and minimizes circulation interruption. Also, the large velcro fasteners are wonderful. They are kind to dew claws. There is a slight learning curve in fastening correctly. I found that you MUST fasten them keeping the velcro area vertical. The tendency is to wrap them at an angle, which does not allow them to be fastened securely. It only took me a couple of times to get them on perfectly and I have yet to have any of the shoes rotate or come off during walks. That being said, please know my dog is a senior dog (13 y/o), so she is not romping around with these on. I bought them to help with the arthritis in her toes. These help keep her toes from splaying, which is what creates pain for her. The only thing I HIGHLY recommend is using socks. There is just not any padding inside and you want to make sure your dog's pads can sweat. The socks allow this. I actually use 2 baby socks on each shoe for my girl (a very minimal investment). I put on a short thick sock first to absorb any sweat from her feet and then I put a long knee-high baby sock over that that has tread on the bottom to allow it to grip the shoe better without a lot of slippage. Then, after putting on the shoes, I fold the knee-high sock down over the top of the shoe. This is critical in my case because the front shoes have some excess material once fastened securely (a little wide for her legs), and pulling the sock over prevents the flaps from catching on one another as she walks (older dogs have a tendency to stagger a bit and oftentimes brush their feet against one another. Now, if I put the shoes on with the fasteners going opposite directions, this might not be necessary. However, I actually paired up the shoes so that they look like one is for the left and one for the right, which means the fasteners sometimes go the same way. The fact that some shoes appear to be both left instead of one left and one right would be my only complaint. Basically, they should all really be exactly the same - appearing uniform so they would fit either foot, since dogs don't have much difference in feet like we do. But this is a minor and rather picky critique. I can tell you that, should your dog step on the shoes, they will be able to walk out of them. I have NEVER found a shoe where this is not the case. So, bottom line is that I highly recommend these shoes. The only thing that could make them better might be a little more padding in the bottom. However, I prefer to use socks since they are washable and prevent the shoes from starting to smell over time. Also, it would be nice if they were sold in twos instead of fours. I, personally, didn't mind buying two sets of different sizes (which now leaves me with 2 complete sets of shoes for her) since I needed a smaller size (large) for her back feet and a larger size (Xlarge) for her front. The back shoes do fit her the best, as they are not as wide and they are a perfect fit. The front ones could stand to be a little narrower. However, it is hard to size shoes to fit every breed, since some dogs have narrower feet and some have very wide feet. I can tell you that, after four years of looking, I am SO HAPPY to have found these. I really recommend you try them. If they don't work for your baby, you can always return or exchange for a different size. These are DEFINITELY the MOST HUMANE shoes I have ever found. We have been on about a dozen walks with them so far and, other than getting a bit dirty, I see no signs of wear to date. I am hoping these will hold up for a long time. I also think they are priced well and worth the investment if you need shoes for your puppy. One other thing I forgot to mention - these shoes are definitely the easiest shoes to put on I have found. That is another big plus.UPDATE: I have now had these shoes for approximately 6 months. My initial impressions have not changed. I feel so passionate about these shoes, I wanted to update my review. Other than some dirt and minor wear marks, my dog's shoes are still in great shape. I did start to see some minor damage from stitching on one of the shoes in the first month, but learned it was my fault - I was stretching the bands to be tighter than was necessary, putting unnecessary strain on the stitching. I figured that out pretty quickly and have had no further issues since. My girl will occasionally "walk out" of one because she has stepped on her foot with the other. She is senior and her balance isn't what it used to be. Like I mentioned before, I have not found a shoe where this would not happen. I believe if you have one that won't react in that way, it is probably too tight and not humane. Personally, I would rather deal with the very rare "step out" issue and know that my dog's feet are truly comfortable. My girl's shoes look almost as good today as when I bought them. I know there is no one dog shoe for all dogs, but I really don't understand the low reviews here. The only thing I could say is that dogs with very skinny legs (like greyhounds, whippets, etc.) might not be suitable for these as you couldn't get the leg portion tight enough. This is certainly IS NOT the fault of the manufacturer. I don't know ANY dog shoe company that is going to manufacture a dozen different styles to fit every breed out there. But I believe these shoes should work for you if your dog has average thickness limbs compared to its feet (labs, shepherds, etc.) I really hope, if you need shoes for your baby, that you try these. The company stands behind its product and you can always return if you are unhappy.By the way, no one contacted me about adding anything to my review and I have not received ANY incentive to post it. I just know how hard it was for me to find shoes that worked for my girl and hope to help someone else.

Great fit, easy to clean, comes with a mesh bag so you can hang them up to dry!
My five year old goldendoodle has worn boots when it is messy outside (rain, mud, snow) since she was a puppy (so she is conditioned to wearing shoes and doesn't like to stand in snow). We recently had a few inches of snow and the boots we've had for years "blew out"...I followed the guidelines on how to measure and bought the XL. These are so much easier to put on than her old boots and she can actually run in these without any of them falling off. She loves these so much she actually lays down and holds her paws up for me to put them on her. It's great that they came in a mesh bag so I can hang them to dry. They do dry quickly and are pretty easy to clean, the soles are a little hard to clean when they are muddy but they are like athletic shoe soles with lots of grooves for traction. I will probably buy a second pair just to have a backup.

Boots don't stay on
The boots won't stay on. The hook and loop area is set so that if you wrap tightly around the leg, the patches go beyond each other. The only way to mate the two patches is to wrap loosely, which means the boot falls off. When I contacted Prumya, their replay was worthless:"Dear customer,Thank you so much for providing us these important details, which encourage and help to do much better on our products improvement. We will keep improving our products and offer better & more comfortable ones soon!Wish you and your lovely dog have a happy day! :)Best Regards,Kitty"Certainly doesn't solve the problem.

Does what they say they will do!
The media could not be loaded. My 12-year-old, 77-lb German shepherd has bad knees, and had begun to scrape the top of his hind feet on our walks. I have had him in other boots for about a year, but with rear dew claws and splayed toes, I knew he was pretty uncomfortable. I first bought these in XXL but they were too big. Returned them the next day and ordered XL. Someone else had suggested using socks inside the boots, which we have done. I folded the top of the sock over the outside of the boots. These are SO easy to get on and off, they STAY ON, and with the soft sides, I know he is more comfortable. Wish I'd known about these sooner.

Did not hold up while hunting, but good otherwise
They're pretty good. They fit my GWP who has pretty large feet. I took her hunting with one boot on due to a small wound on her paw. I wrapped the top part in vet wrap to make sure it didn't come off. It didn't, but she wore a hole through the toe. Granted she was running constantly and through brush and everything. I think it held up fairly well. I bought these specifically for when she injures her paw and I need it to heal and keep it clean (and keep her from licking the medicine off). Overall they're a good boot.
