Q: Does anyone know if this motor is a replacement for pn: 451478. The model number of the dead unit is the same.

If the model number is the same it should be a direct replacement but if you can trouble shoot the switch first. If you have a dual recliner set up take the switch from the working motor and text the non-working motor.
