One thing at a time, surely?
It does exactly what I'd expected it to do. I wanted it to save my having to unplug the ethernet cable from one device and plug it into another when switching from one device as the signal source to another. So, I now have an ethernet cable running from my ethernet plug in the wall to the single slot in the splitter and two separate ethernet cables running from the splitter. One goes to my NOW tv box and the other to my Sony Blu ray player. My Sony Blu ray player gives me access to e.g. Netflix (which the NOW tv box doesn't) and my NOW tv box gives me access to NOW tv - obviously! - (which the Sony Blu ray player doesn't). Clearly, I can't watch NOW tv simultaneously with Netflix so the fact that I can't have one TV connected to my NOW tv box and another TV connected to my Sony box in an attempt to watch both TVs simultaneously doesn't worry me. I'm happy to watch one thing at a time. So, I'll watch some sport on my NOW tv box connected to my one TV and then turn off the NOW tv box and switch on the Sony box and click on Netflix and watch something on Netflix on the same TV without having to move an ethernet cable from one box to the other. Both boxes connect to the internet perfectly, albeit separately, not simultaneously. For other reviewers it is clearly a drawback that you cannot use the splitter to access two different bits of internet content at the same time. Being a non-teccy simpleton, it never occurred to me that you might be able to. So, I'm a happy customer.

Don't waste your time and money on this - it doesn't work
This does not work at all - wish I had read reviews before wasting money on it. As others have said, the first socket works but the other one is dead. It is plainly a design fault - since others have had the same problem
