Great mouse pad if you're looking for a smooth surface and endurance.
As of this review I have used the mouse pad for about 2 weeks. (I'm not a good reviewer but I'll give it a shot)I did some research before buying this and apparently it's the hardest or somewhat of a hard cloth pad for mice and apparently it has a really smooth surface.Well this is indeed true, the cloth is indeed harder than my Steelseries Qck+ Fnatic Eddition which has it's ups and downs. There aren't many downs to be honest, the biggest one that you get used to pretty quick is that it's less comfortable than other cloth mouse pads, since most cloth pads are soft, this one you're gonna have to get used to (1-3 days). Now the big upside is that it's obviously quite smooth, probably not as smooth as a hard surface mouse pad but probably smoother than most cloth pads out there. The accuracy is great and stopping distance / force you get used to pretty quickly. I much prefer this one over my 2 Steelseries extra large cloth mouse pads that I've used for 5 ish years. It is a bit smaller than my old Steelseries one but I never used the whole pad anyways so I'm fine with that (I use 400 dpi so I use a lot of the mousepad surface).Lastly, this is kind of a personal thing but it exists and I'm certain I'm not making this up. I've had a problem with my Steelseries mouse pads where after even a couple days of use and even after washing, the mouse pad would for some reason either build up dirt or the cloth would wear out and it would cause the cloth to sort of create a rougher surface (less smooth surface) and it would be harder to move the mouse in certain places (mostly the middle area) of the mouse pad. The big main reason I bought this mouse pad is to hopefuly reduce that weird rougher area that is caused by god knows what. Well it turns out that this mouse pad definitely does improve greatly on that as the surface is a lot smoother in general, sort of close to a hard surface. But, it's not completely gone, there is still some stopping force going on in the middle area of the mouse pad (where I use it the most). I can imagine this will get slightly worse with time but as of now it's still way better than the Steelseries mouse pad that I used.Anyways, I think in general this mouse pad is definitely worth the money if you care about your mouse pad surface enough and if you use it a lot.I'm definitely happy with it and I might buy several more in the future just in case this one wears out terribly or it gets damaged somehow. Also apparently you're not supposed to bend this mouse pad, so when you open it up make sure to lay it down as soon as possible.

Possibly the best mouse pad ever?
As someone who has been FPS gaming for over 15 years I have gone through many many mouse pads such as the likes of the QCK heavy, Zowie G-SR, Puretrak talent. But even though I have preferred cloth pads I have never found one that's Perfect they always seem to have some sort of compromise.I have heard many good things about Artisan but never took the plunge because they have a ridiculous amount of choice with the surface & hardness etc + they are pretty expensive & you wouldn't want to choose wrongly. After much Googling and Youtube I decided to opt for a change and have a slightly harder surface. All i can say is WOW its still like a cloth kinda but it glides so much better yet at the same time the mouse stops exactly where you want it to with no overshoot. This combination of both speed & control just feels amazing.Where it excel's is flick shots. So if you are a Hitscan player who likes Rail/Headshots/Sniping you are gonna love this.I think this is as close to the perfect mouse pad as I have experienced. But i am still very curious about all the other artisan pads :D.

Excellent choice
Excellent pad, surface is strange to touch at the start though. Coming from a cloth pad it will take some getting used to. Once broken in you will have the perfect balence between precision and resistance. Obviously it's expensive but it's a very impressive product, and I wouldn't pass this up if your seriously thinking of becoming more precise in twitch shooters. I use it mainly for CS:GO and it has served me very well! I rate 10/10
