FNA-32 Custom Handmade Damascus Steel Folding Knife - Beautiful Camel Bone Handle with Damascus Steel Bolsters

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted a classy looking Damascus steel pocket knife. After looking at many custom made knives in the US I had made a list of the specific features that I wanted on my knife. Well, when I saw this knife in the add I knew that this one has all of the custom features I wanted without the exuberant price that full custom made knives in the US usually cost.1. I really like the pattern in the Damascus blade and bolsters. This steel is a well made Damascus that does not have the look of cheaper made Damascus that you find in so many foreign made knives. Nor does it look like the cheap imitation "engraved" Damascus steels that you find on some knives that you find online these days.2. The wooden handles have a deep rich tone to them that remind me of the finer quality walnut used in only the best custom made rifle and shotgun stocks.3. The rope or scroll engraving on the brass liners is flawless. I have had several US custom knife makers that looked the knife over comment on how precise and well executed it was. When I questioned them about how much they would charge for such work they said that no one would be able to afford the knife for what they would have to charge for their time to perform the work because of the hours it would take them to properly perform the engraving.4. The liner lock opener on the knife works great as well. It does not bind or catch when the knife is being opened.5. The thumb stub on the blade to be used to assist in opening the knife is made of brass that matches the liners and is engraved as well.I have had this knife for a while now and it has stood up to use at home, in the office and more importantly on the ranch. I would recommend this knife and the seller to anyone looking to purchase a great knife. Seller was quick to ship and great to work with.

The handle is much lighter than pictured (Not nearly as nice looking) I was excited to receive this am nowdisappointed. The color in the picture is what sold me on this one after looking at dozens on AMAZON.Other than that I would have given it 5 stars seems like a great little knife for the price.Also model number on label on box differs than advertised.

What to say? Well, the blade on this knife is beautiful, but the finish on the handle leaves something to be desired. There were several sharp points that stuck out and poked your hand. I tried to get a hold of some one to discuss returning it, but after an hour searching I gave up. So if you want a knife just to look at this is a good choice, that's what I decided because it is nice to look at, but if you want a knife to use I'd think about something else.
