Is this product suitable for a quilt to go on a baby’s bed please?

No, it’s not. It is quite firm because it is compressed. I used it for a quilted picture and it was great for that because of the relative rigidity. It is not soft a puffy which you would probably want for a baby’s quilt.

Hi is this iron on? Is 1 side sticky?

No it’s not sticky/iron on however when I’ve used it between two layers of quilting fabrics it holds itself to the fabrics really well and doesn’t slip around (also helped by using a proper quilting foot on my sewing machine)!
