Much better than expected!!!
True to size. My feet are wide, calves thick, legs long and I didn’t feel the seams or toes get squished. Bought these to wet wade mountain streams and worked very well fitting to the knee. Even when I got into some deeper water hardly any got past the top. They are a challenge to get on but if you pull the top over the bottom half then slip on the foot and pull the top to roll over it’s easy. Not wild about the camouflage color but I’ll get over on the performance. I bought both the 2.5 and 1.0 mil thickness.

Wonder Wetsox comes through in the clutch!
Recieved this product one week ago. A change up from traditional socks in the fact that they are straight instead of a traditional sock shape. Only complaint on that is that the bunch a little on top of foot near ankle. But the pros of this wader sock are two fold. One is that sliding in and out of my chest wader was a breeze. Did not have any problem sliding right out of the boots. Also, went hunting this morning at zero dark thirty. First two steps into the water I slip on a submerged rock and cartwheel backwards into the chilly water allowing water into my waders. I was soaked through and through. Even felt some water sloshing around in my boots of my waders. Fortunately, I had these socks on. Even though I was completely wet under my waders in low 40 degree temps and 20 to 30 mph winds. My feet stayed warm as could be! Could not believe it.I highly recommend these socks if you can get over the nontraditional shape and a tad bunching on top of your foot.

Great socks, run a little small
I got these socks to wear while hunting as I really don’t like wearing high ankle boots. I have had to submerge my boots fully underwater several times, and have had to walk in cold, wet boots for several miles which is miserable. These socks are great for any type of hiking, hunting or other outdoor activities. They run pretty small, so definitely get another size up. Also, because they don’t breathe well, I recommend wearing a normal sock underneath. If you end up camping or hunting for more than one day, definitely remove the socks and allow your feet to breath as they do not allow for free perspiration underneath the socks. Overall, these have saved me several times already in the last two hunting seasons

Not Waterproof
100% not waterproof. Also they show as being camo, but they are only camo on the front panel, the back panel is black. Wanted to use these with a pair of wading boots for a set up where I could get at least ankle deep in cold water without waders. These things leak like a sieve. Think wet suite, not dry suite.

Did not work
Wore once hunting and little but of water got into the waders which ended up in my boot and soaked straight through these socks.

No more cold toes
Just received these, haven't had a chance to field test but was able to simulate (see pic). My feet are narrow 12s. The XL fits fine, not sloppy but enough room to wiggle. They aren't the easiest to put on but they stay in place & make waders slide on easily as advertised. Probably easier to slide onto bare feet.My waders have latex stocking feet. Local rivers have been ~40°-50°F. I typically wear thin wool dress socks & thick wool boot socks under my waders. My feet have been quite cold after 10-15mins in the water. For my living room testing purposes I used my thin wool dress socks & new 2.5mm Wetsox under the latex. Plunged my foot into an ice water bath & started the timer. After 10mins my foot was cool. After over 35mins my foot is much cooler but I can still feel & move my toes. These socks seem to work. They stretch well so should be comfortable walking along the river chasing steelhead. Let's hope they're as durable as they are warm & comfortable.
