I live in the mountains, and it is as I write this the beginning of autumn. Alpine winds are a thing, as are gray, overcast and rainy days and the ambient temperature hovers at around 55°. Too cold for this mountain mama, so I went on search for an electric throw to help warm my bones.I’ve had a lot of electric throws before, and most of them don’t get all together too warm, but enough to where they take the chill off. I’ve learned to accept that. I bought this throw because it was reasonably priced, and it wasn’t backed with Sherpa, some thing which I really don’t like.First of all, it’s absolutely gorgeous. It just looks like a velvet throw, being very Boho gypsy this is something I could not be happier about. I bought the red/burgundy, and it is perfect for my decor. But the truly amazing thing is HOW DAMN HOT this little blanket gets! I confess I do not fully understand the numbers on the digital display of the control, there are two, one is red; one is green. The red goes up to six, the green goes up to nine. I am fairly sure that the red indicates temperature control, and this means six levels of heat. I can promise you that a few people will be able to withstand the heat of the sixth. I practically burnt my foot sitting cross legged with this on my lap because it got so hot. This is not a complaint, although I now take extra care not to just leave it on because it does truly get so hot that I am concerned that it could burn some thing. I am not kidding. I happened to purchase two of these blankets, one for me, and one for husband, and, his gets just as hot so I don’t think this is some thing anomalous to my blanket.It also seems to stay on all night long. I’m not sure if the green one through nine numbers indicate hours? Again, not a complaint. I snuggle up with it before I go to bed and leave my window open, the temperatures plummets down to 40s and it is the absolute best sleeping weather. The room is cool, I am cozy, warm the entire night, and I have never slept so well.I love this so much that I bought one for my studio because I don’t want to be in any room for any length of time without it. It is the perfect throw to have when a chill presents itself. If you’re at all on the fence about it, pull the trigger. This is cozy, beautiful and as warm and delightful as it gets in an electric throw.

I have very painful knees and ankles, when the pain starts the best thing is to get a good throw easy to work and see. I loved this throw it was soft and lite and easy to use, i loved it. This morning i couldn't get it to turn on, the control will not lite up. I changed where i plug it in at to several sockets, it wouldn't come on, ive thrown the bag out and have no information on the blanket except the info on the control and it is KP-231 Product model B3001T00 Voltage 120 vac Hertz 60Hz Watts:100W Size 50" x 60"

It gets heated quickly and keeps me warm but I wished it was thicker.

the color was spot on and very soft...the delivery was a lie...I was sent a message stating that it was left near the door when in fact it was left by the mailbox...how rude!

I got this for my daughter she absolutely loves it she said it keeps her warm

It’s a bit thin and you can really feel the wires, but warms up fast and is very cozy.

The blanket is super soft and gets very warm. The size is perfect for your bed or just lounging on the couch. I love the adjustable thermostat and timer on there just in case you forget to turn it off. I would definitely buy again.

This throw gets HOT! My dad has low iron so he stays cold year round! Not now!! He says number 2 setting is as high as he can get it, so he doesn’t get to hot! It’s not a heavy throw! Very Soft! Great Buy!! I recommend!!
