Size:20 Boxes | Style:3/4" Not all that glitters is gold – sometimes it’s brass! These sturdy, brass-plated fasteners provide an effective and attractive way to securely hold documents together. The brass plating extends product life, protects against corrosion and adds an attractive shine. Strong fasteners have 3/4" prongs, designed with self-piercing points that easily penetrate paper and hold securely. These sleek fasteners neatly and securely hold papers, with larger heads that make them easier to use. Circular heads, with a 5/16" diameter provide a neat presentation. Prongs remain flexible, allowing for unlimited reuse. These neat little fasteners are great for a wide variety of applications: use them with manila folders, documents and scripts. And, of course, they’re great for creative classroom crafts. A complete case contains 20 boxes of 100 fasteners each, give you plenty of fastening capacity for many projects to come.

Perfect fasteners if you know what you are doing
I read so many bad reviews stating that this fastener cannot be used on standard sized, pre-punched holes. Well, duh! Did you read the description? The description clearly states that the head is 5/16" for the 3/4" fastener size and the head is 3/8" for the 1" fastener size. So, of course, you can't use those size fasteners with 1/4" holes. You have 3 options for successfully using the 1" and 3/4" sized fasteners:1) You can use the built-in self-piercing feature2) You can use a 1/16" punch along with the self-piercing feature3) You can use a 1/8" punch (shown in the picture)The advantage of buying a 1/8" punch (as low as $8) is that you can also use it to punch additional holes in your belts as you gain weight like crazy during Covid because all you do anymore is shop on Amazon.

Too small for standard 3 hole punch
Too small for standard 3 hole punch paper. Paper holes are bigger than the head. I don't why this is getting such high reviews.

Why'd I Order This?
Sometimes I'll order something and know exactly why I ordered it. But when it arrives, I will have forgotten why. This is one of those cases. No, I have not tried them. They're still in the package. And I'm still trying to figure out why I ordered them.Maybe one day it'll come to me.

Not what I expected
I ordered the no. 3/4 size fastener. I had previously used the 1 in. but that was more than I needed so I order the 3/4 in. Unfortunately, the head of the fastener was smaller and slipped through the hole. Why would the head be smaller? The hole doesn't shrink because the volume of paper is smaller? If the head is going to be smaller, you need to say that in the product write-up. What a dissappoinment.

Not as expected
The metal is too thin, hard to do the job. The head is small too. Don’t buy!

Perfect for paper clocks!
Perfect for our needs, which were to make some paper clocks for learning how to tell time. We have a ton leftover, but I'm sure we'll find uses for them!

Long
First the good: These fasteners are long enough to use with fence tape without much trouble. The bad: They feel not durable and are very thin and soft. Not like the fasteners that came with my tape which can actually be purchased for twice the amount. But I am cheap and if you want to save money then these here will work fine. At least for now. You decide.

These are worthless. WAAYYYY too small. Heads are barely bigger than a standard hole in three hole paper. Won't hold pages together for more than a minute or two max. Complete rip-off.
