We bought this for our daughter's baptism with the intention of using it for future children as well. This is a beautiful outfit. It would work well with both genders. That is one of the reasons we purchased this, in the event we have more children, we wanted to be able to use it for girls and boys.Update 2021: We have used this for both our daughter and our son. We are going to use it again for our newest son's baptism as well. It's a wonderful baptismal outfit.

This gown is not white as pictured. It's off white/ cream color.The fabric is more like knit jersey.It wasn't what I thought that I saw in the picture and what I was looking for.
