Convenient size
I'm a truck driver, nothing is worse then getting a metal wire seal. Having to cut one with bolt cutters is the worst. you can probably get away with buying a smaller one but they cost about the same so the bigger one is better for the extra leverage.

Truck driver must
I had a set of these given to me 20 years ago and I lost them. So I bought new ones and let me tell you. I love them. As a truck driver these are a must-have when it comes to braided seals.

Makes easy work.

Well made tool.
I was having a tough time trying to cut 1/16 SS aircraft cable without getting frayed ends. This tool provided a nice clean cut without frayed ends.
