Mayca Moon Mochi Mixed Fruit Jelly Candy mentions on its Amazon product page mochi but is simply a delicious fruit jelly candy. The candy comes in five flavors including Apricot, Grape, Muscat, Peach, and Strawberry. The pieces are individually wrapped and have vibrant colors with an even coating of fine sanding sugar. The candies have a soft yet firm texture that reminded me of a gumdrop in texture. The fruit flavors are bold, distinct, and very tasty. My favorite flavor is grape. Interestingly, not all of the candies are the same size. The strawberry is actually shaped like a strawberry, the muscat and grape flavors are large ovals, and the peach and apricot are small gumball sized pieces. The coloring that is printed on the packaging label on the bag for each flavor reflects the actual candy coloring of the jelly candy. The ingredients include sugar, mizuame concentrated juice (white grape, apricot, peach, grape, strawberry), wine extract, gelling agent (pectin), acidulant, flavor, coloring (red 3, blue 1, yellow 4 5). It is Made in Japan. The product that I received has a best by date of 6 months from the date that I received it. It is a delightful candy that would make a lovely snack to have when guests come to visit. I loved these jelly candies and plan to add another order to my Amazon cart.

Just really sweet. Not much offering with texture, aroma or flavor. Not all Japanese candies are awesome I guess.I gave two stars for individual packaging and appetizing colors and fun shape of strawberry.

It's way too sweet jelly. NOT MOCHI AT ALL. The products description says Mochi texture, a total lie. This is the only reason why I bought this nasty stuff. I lovecMochi and it's texture, this is just a jelly. It's like eating a big scoop of over sweet jelly.

These moon mochis are so good and I like that they're individually wrapped. They have a super smooth and soft texture. They have a very fine and light sugar coating. They are made with real fruit juices and the flavors all taste natural. I'm not really a fan of grape flavored things so I didnt really enjoy the grape and muscat ones. Great tasting soft gummy candy.

The Mayca Moon Mixed Fruit Flavor Soft Gummy candies are really tasty. They come in several different fruit flavors, and are a soft gummy candy on the sweet side but not overpoweringly sweet. I actually like them a lot, but I requested these because of the word "Mochi" in the description, and although the package says they are made in Japan, they do not bear any resemblance to mochi, which traditionally includes a rice flour layer. I've given this three stars because I think the description is inaccurate, but if I were rating the candies just on flavor and texture, this would be a definite 4-star candy.
