Working Great As A Husqvarna YTH24K48 Mechanical Pump Upgrade
I'm using this to replace and upgrade the old pressure pulse mechanical diaphragm pump on a Husqvarn YTH24K48 lawn tractor with a Kohler Command SV725 26HP engine. I'm happy to report that it is working beautifully. I can now pre-prime the carburator before I crank the engine, so starts are now pretty much instantaneous; and as I finish, I can switch off the pump and run the carb dry to prevent fuel varnish from building up. I love it. For reference, I have this wired in via a waterproof toggle switch installed on the dash (search for ASIN : B07WW3WW3F) and a fused relay (search for ASIN : B07TV9M1QR) running straight off the battery if you want to duplicate my setup. I also discarded the included filter and straight 1/4" x 1/8" NPT hose barb and installed two right angle 1/4" x 1/8"NPT barbs (ASIN : B07CQQPG21) You can find the 90 degree barbs cheaper if you look.

Facet-Purolator FPF-FEP42SV Solid State Fuel Pump
Replaced a Stewart Warner pump with Facet and its night and day. It is a lot quitter and works great.

Engine saver!
This is my goto pump for replacing failing mechanical fuel pumps (which can wreck engines). I've never had an issue with Facet pumps. They just work, and are good value for the money. There are cheaper pumps out there, but they just aren't as durable. These pumps have a characteristic thump-thump noise that can transmit into the cabin, so I recommend installing them with rubber washers between the pump and body.

Left me stranded on the side of the road
I bought this because it seemed like a good match for a small 4cyl that has a Weber carb on it. On the website, it specifically says that it is for Weber carbs and that it doesn’t require a fuel pressure regulator. It worked for about 30 miles and now I’m writing this review on the side of the road where I’m stranded. The pump just cavitates and does not draw any fuel.

For my MGB 1979, This Facet-Purolator solid state fuel pump works exactly as expected. Loud little pump that works well
Definitely loud! But it works great. So, Grade C for aesthetics, Grade A for functionality. This is a low-pressure pump <= 4psi, and works great on my 1979 MGB. Follow-up. As it turns out this pump may be a little too strong for the MGB’s HS4 carburetors. It forces the float bowls to leak. I’ll be looking for another one in the spring.

12 volt fuel pump
I installed this on an 18hp Onan engine. Starts much quicker than the old vacuum pump that was on it (which failed). A year ago I installed this same electric pump on a 24hp Onan engine. It has performed flawlessly. I had two vacuum pumps fail on this engine and wasn’t going to put on another vacuum pump.
