Best tailgate straps on the market
Bought these for my 2012 Toyota Tacoma. EXCELLENT PRODUCT FOR AN EXCELLENT VALUE. These rack pads are well constructed and come with handy mesh carriers for storage when not in use. Installation takes less than 2 minutes and the straps hold your board(s) down securely. I can't comment on how these would work for super wide/thick boards, but there's PLENTY of strap length for a standard shortboard (I've actually strapped two shortboards onto one pad before and had no issues whatsoever). Awesome product. BUY THEM!

easy install and use, but quality and fit is ok
I use this for a SUP and it works fine for that purpose. I have a 14' race so it's thin at the rear but the strap may not be long enough for a cruiser sup. I have a K5 Blazer so the tailgate is thicker so I had to basically flaten the pad to fit, and the cover is not sewed so I'm not sure how long it will last. Quality is just so so

Perfect for the price
Great protection for your board and your tailgate on the cheap. Attached it to my my tail gate in a matter of minutes and was ready to go. The attaching straps stay tight even while traveling without a board on it. The strap is just long enough to fit over a 31" paddle board Also works well when hauling lumber, furniture, and anything else that hangs over the tailgate.

Just as good as Da Kine, but a better price!
My husband bought these for his truck and they work perfectly. I am a fan of Da Kine, but the quality for the price on these is a good alternative! The padded portion is significant and the straps are sturdy.

Cheaply made
Very cheaply made. Hardly any cushion and the strap was too short to fit around my SUP. Found a quality one for $30 at a local Adventure store.

Cheap, fades, but still works
I think this is a cheap version of the original Block Surf pad. My buddy has one he bought at a surf shop and has had his 3 more years than me and his is no where near faded as mine. Mine started fading quickly. It looks ugly now but I still use it. It works good for my wide board. I think I am going to buy the Thule one as they claim it wont fade.

Good rack.
Good rack. Holds a few boards if necessary. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the padding. It could have more padding, but that being said, the padding has been sufficient for me.
