We bought this as a temporary solution for our wild bird problem but it ended up working so well we are just sticking with it. The only complaint I have is that the chickens eat what’s right in front of them and then the rest of it just sits to the sides of the holes, so you kinda have to go and shake the food up to level it out again every day. Otherwise, it’s a much cheaper solution than the big weight-activated feeders.

Worked great for a while, but noticed that it is not mouse proof..... mice wore able to get in and they ruined a lot of food, which defeated the whole purpose

So far we love it. It’s big enough to hold 4 or 5 days of food yet easy enough to carry, with the lock down lid, even when full. It also helps keep the chickens from throwing the food all over the place. I would definitely recommend it and the price was right.

Seems like a nice stand for feed. But needs connector's for legs to hook to a tent stake or something similar. So it won't tip over when it gets lighter. No instructions included. The handle on top lid will allow rain, moisture to get in. The handle hardware needs silicone to seal it where screws go in.

Got this hoping it would feed my growouts (4 roos and 7 hens) for 2 to 3 days while we went out of town. When it came in I was not impressed. Not much bigger than a small tackle box. And definitely won't hold 25 pounds of feed as advertised. You are lucky to get 15 in there. Also it's so small when one chicken stands in front if it ( a Rhode Island red) it's head is over the top of it and no other chicken can eat at the front. I had to out it up on concrete blocks just to use it. Very disappointing. It might be big enough for saramas or tiny birds like that but definitely not regular chickens.

This design is less than desirable. I really should have returned it. The feed falls below the red spouts inside and you have to hand scoop it out to feed. Love the looks but not very convenient.

I got this feeder because my chickens were going through food way too fast just wasting it all over the ground. This feeder doesn't prevent waste 100% but it has slowed it down dramatically. Worth the price and the rain doesn't get in it
