Perfect espresso on the go
We use the WACACO Nanopresso Portable Espresso Machine on the road and for motorcycle camping, and it is brilliant. It is compact, lightweight, and easy to use, making it perfect for travel. Despite its size, it makes a really good espresso and gives us a proper caffeine boost wherever we are. A must-have for anyone who doesn’t want to compromise on coffee while travelling.

Surprisingly easy to use. I love it?
Bought this for a cruise where the drinks package was just too expensive. Also bought the nano adaptor so I can use it with nespresso capsules. Got it set up and running in less than 5 minutes! Perfect espresso (we love Caffe Borbonne Capsules) with a rich crema! Brilliant little gadget, easy to carry and best of all, simple to use!

Makes Great Coffee. Slowly.
I bought this to use while travelling on holidays. Easy to assemble, requires a fair amount of hand dexterity and strength to pump - one shot takes around thirty four pumps. The coffee is great. The process is slow. If you are making one shot for one person, then it is fine. An additional shot will take long enough to set up and pump that the first one will be too cool for most tastes. Build quality seemed satisfactory, without striking one as of a quality to justify the price. The item I had soon developed a pump fault and was returned for a refund. In all probability, I will buy another of these before travelling again, unless I can find something a bit faster and somewhat better constructed.

Nice design and works as intended
Works well, nice design. Difficult to maintain temperature but otherwise A1 for the traveller.

These work
These are ace! This is the third one ive had, in about ten years....they last pretty well using every day and the coffee is spot on. For the cost, you cant go wrong.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Portable coffee 😃😃😃
Coffee on the go. Am not a coffee snob, but this has been worth its weight. Either in the office or a day on the trails, stopping for that coffee break and knowing you will get a good cup just makes even wet days out that little more warming. It adds additional weight for walks and rides as you still need flask of hot water and enough coffee grounds to last the day but everything comes with compromise.

Makes good Espresso - Disappointing build quality
Rarely do I leave anything other than glowing reviews but this was a real disappointment. Firstly, there is no question the Nanopresso makes a nice cup of espresso, but having read all the hype and watched lots of YouTube reviews, I was very surprised to find poor quality fit of the accessories for not just the Nanopresso itself, but the Barista Kit I ordered at the same time. Firstly the cup can be pulled from the water tank with little to no effort so there's every chance that is only going to worsen and fall off repeatedly. Had I opted for the grey Nanopresso, I'd probably just leave it off as I don't use it, but on the coloured models, the body of the Nanopresso is still grey, so no cup is going to look silly. No signs of any leakage and functionally all seems good but let down by poor QC if this is a one off, if not, its just bad design. I'll leave a separate review of the Barista Kit but overall, a total let down for the money

Fills a Niche
A criticism often levelled at the Nanopresso is that it needn’t exist. For me - a fledgling espresso fan - I found it perfect. I’d previously used either a V60 ot AeroPress and wanted to sample espresso without shelling out hundreds of pounds. At £70 this seemed like a good stepping stone and indeed it makes very enjoyable espresso from shop-bought ground coffee. Yes it could produce so much better espresso if I used premium coffee specifically ground for espresso but as I’m just starting out I wanted to take small steps. My only criticism is that it doesn’t produce a double dose.
