An 80's 'slashic'
Classic 80's slasher sequel and a nice addition to any horror blu collection.Part 3 is our first introduction to Jason's iconic hockey mask and one of the better entries in the series. The disc contains a regular 2D version and an anaglyph 3D version (note:old school red/cyan glasses, NOT bluray 3D). Two pairs of cardboard glasses are included in the case. The old fashioned 3D is a nice gimmick and a novelty, it does wash out the colours and strain the eyes a bit. Ok for a bit of fun though. Some decent special features on the disc too, all in HD.

Friday 13th BLU-RAY
Friday the 13th part 3 2D is excellent in Blu-ray, christal clear picture, great sound, BUT playing it in 3D is not recommended, WHY? you can only watch it by wearing the glasses that come with the movie 2 pairs, the 3d did not work with my glasses that came with my 3d television, when I watched the movie with the glasses that came in the box the 3d was very poor, the colours are pale and the two pictures did not sinc very well when wearing the glasses.I do recommend buying this Blu-ray it is uncut, but for me the 3d is poor, it comes with a 2D version which I will watch always.

JASON IS BACK FOR A THIRD TIME
Jason is back for the third time and the story is the same as before teenagers who can not act go into the woods were he kills them.In this one they try a new twist by making the movie in 3D and scope and this is the movie were we get to see JASON wear his mask and how he got it.Now about the disc its a nice sharp picture that you can watch in 3d or 2d the sound is good and on the extra side we get the trailer for the movie and two short doc about the movie. This is a disc from the U.S but dont worry its reg free so plays over here fine.I am not a lover of the slasher movies but this one is one of the better ones the other one i like is the FRIDAY THE 13TH rip of THE BURNING which i thought a much better movie have it on order will review when it comes. So to sum up not a bad disc so if you enjoy this type of movie you should enjoy this disc

One of the worst Friday The 13th films
This was the second Friday The 13th sequel, originally released in 1982 and in 3D at the cinemas. However, I consider this to be one of the very worst in the franchise. The acting is absolutely atrocious and even worse than normal. Okay, nobody is ever going to expect award-winning acting from these films, or you wouldn't even be watching them, but this is truly awful. The gore effects in the death scenes is also awful and it is painfully obvious that this film was originally meant to be shown in 3D, because of the amount of things that poke you in the face while you watch it. However, the worst thing of all, for me, is the music. It is truly terrible and sounds more like it should be in Saturday Night Fever, rather than in a horror film. It is completely inappropriate and out of place and it ruins the whole atmosphere of the film. I give this film only one star, for being the film that gives Jason his iconic hockey mask and also for featuring a bit more gore than the old VHS video version. Now, you see a bit more gore in the death scenes of Vera, Andy and Debbie, which is nothing special, but better than nothing. However, I cannot recommend this film to anyone, unless you are a die-hard fan of the series or unless you want to have a good laugh at the cheap-looking special effects. A very missable film.
