DeWalt DE6952-XJ Collet m. Nut, 8 mm for DW621

This combined collet and nut allows you to attach 8mm diameter routing bits to your DeWalt router! It is fairly essential, if you want to route a slightly longer depth.I purchased this to be able to do rare occasional work trimming worktops, with a Trend 3/55LX8MMTC two-flute cutter (9.5mm cutting diameter, 19mm cutting length, and overall 51mm from K mark to the tip of the cutter).It is an expensive nut+collet, but it is a genuine DeWalt part. I like it because the nut and collet are combined into one unit, they are inseparable so you won't lose one piece and not the other.Since this 8mm collet needs to fit the same spindle, it is by its nature a slightly thinner collet than the 1/4" one supplied with the router. I don't see that this should cause an issue.Incidentally, just like the 1/4" nut+collet supplied with the router, this 8mm nut+collet uses the same spanner/wrench (it is a 17mm sized spanner in case you lose it and need to buy another).This 8mm nut+collet does feel a bit scratchy when screwing it onto the router, so you may want to blast it with an air line or something perhaps to remove any metal fragments on the inside.

Funciona muy bien para las brocas de 8 mm como debe ser.Me parece que el precio de este tipo de productos es sobre-elevado pero abusan de la necesidad ya que si lo necesitas lo tienes que pagar.
