Q: Will it work for reading fine print or sewing when I need a bright light?

That's a tough question. It depends on what you consider "bright" and your eyesight. I'm using my two (I bought a second one after being happy with the first) for lighting displays where I wanted something sleek and with adjustable lighting. So they are perfect for me. One good thing about Amazon - it is SO easy to send something back that doesn't meet your requirements.

Q: Does this need to be plugged in to work? Can it really be used tent camping with no power available?

I dont see any opening to put batteries in it so yes it needs to be plugged in.

Q: Why were an adapter and power cord not included with my order?

Must have been a packaging error. I received everything required to operate the lamp

Hopeless product quality and horribly bad return procedure

Please 🥺, touch this product, if you are ready to lose money.The light is so dull, forget about study lamp, you cant use it even for bed lamp. No adjustments possible. All plastic cheap quality, so can't even keep it decorum.2nd point, I paid 50 dhs for local courier to return back the product as Amazon or seller refused to recollect it.And to my amusement, seller didn't return my money but looted 40 AED and return initiated for 60 dhs. Hopeless and disappointed ☹️
