I love these boards because they are easy to program. If you use Arduino IDE, make sure you have the setting in the picture enabled or else you will not be able to see the serial monitor. This is not the board's fault but due to a problem in Arduino IDE but the board works as expected and it's so impressive to see how cheap and affordable entry-level hoppy electronics have become!

Opened the package, plugged it to the laptop, opened the Arduino IDE and had the basic sketch running in minutes. It appears to have the same pinout as esp32-s3-devkitc-1 as far as I can tell.

I wanted some missing gauges for my vehicle that matched the OEM gauges. These ESP's combined with a low cost round LCD work perfectly. Since they are programable they can do anything you want, such as a peak readout on my boost gauge. Fancy needle sweep when first powered on. They also power up very quickly.

Definitely a good product, works well, and is recognized by Arduino IDE (both v1.x and v.2.x) and MS VS Code. The only complaint I have is the board is printed with pin numbers instead of the typical GPIO number or pin function. If you can live with this, it's definitely a solid addition to your inventory, and I'll be making good use of these ESP32-S3's until the Arduino IDE 2.x supports ESP32-C6 through the ESP32 board manager that is managed by Espressif.

These boards are a huge pain in the ass to use. The PSRAM is unstable compared to Wrover Modules.
