Q: what the weight is of 26x2.5? thanks!

Yes it should fit. For me the problem fitting high volume tires is always the narrowing of the chain stays at the bottom bracket. If you are using these on a bike with horizontal dropouts the you can just add chain links. I have had these on my single speed 26” wheel mountain bike and a 24” wheel BMX cruiser. They are great tires in the woods and on pavement - sort of made me rethink the need for knobby tires in many circumstances.

they should fit. These hookworms fit on my Trek Marlin 7, which had the same Bontrager 29x2.00" front & 29x2.20" rear tires.... i left a review with pictures

Q: Should the tires be on a certain rotation direction? I noticed I installed the two differently based on the logo that is only on one sidewall.

My tires had the same logo/branding on both sides of the tire. I don't thing there is any specific need to install for rotational direction. I imagine if there was there would be a note on the tire itself similar to what is done with automotive tires.

Unicycle friendly

Nice tyre, fitted to my unicycle in order to replace an mtb tyre. I’m riding on tarmac/smoother surfaces at the moment whilst building up my skills so this seemed to fit the requirement . I needed something large enough to marry up with the wide rims I have and this one was recommended on a unicycle website. First impressions are good. Ride is very smooth and hope it will go on to provide many happy miles.

Usual high quality from maxxis

Good park tyres, i run them about 90psi, which is higher than normal for me, but they give good grip and flow. Cased a few times on quarter pipes and they havent damaged at all.

Came 3 days before expected delivery date and so far these have been great, so easy to swerve with them, they feel smooth and they look amazing on my bike. Definitely getting them for my next bike. Although, they could've been a bit cheaper and they're kinda heavy. I recommend these if you want good quality tyres.
