Performance Tool W1216 Ignition Module Tool

I love this distributor tool. It makes it so easy to remove, reinstall & adjust the distributor on my 1989 5.0 Mustang convertible. Sure I can use a socket & wrench with an extension but it still makes for an awkward position of the tool that could possibly strip the bolt. If you have a foxbody mustang like I do, it's worth the price of the tool.

I bought it after I struggled and failed to get a regular wrench wiggled in there.I used it once - and will probably never use it again (unless I do the timing chain, I guess, but, I'll probably forget that I have this/lose it and buy a new one so that I can find this one as I'm opening the new one)It's sturdy. Very wrench-like.

Haven't needed it yet. Just compiling tools for whatever comes my way. Looks well made and at a good price.

A little thin, but it is only a distributor wrench, so I am not worried about it.

Always had issues with my dizzy shifting a little. With this tool there is no way it can. Use it with a 3/8 ratchet for better feel. Great item!!

Súper fácil de usar. Con 2 opciones: 1/2 y 9/16. Pueden ser usadas ambas escuadras para hacer fuerza o se puede conectar a un manerál o matraca. Mucho más sencillo que usar: 1 dado + 1 nudo + 1 extensión larga + 1 matraca o manerál.Herramienta indispensable en un motor carburado o que necesite ajustar manualmente el tiempo del distribuidor, principalmente al hacer viajes donde la altitud sobre el nivel del mar varía más de 1000 metros.

Better quality than I expected for the price. Has the two most common sizes and works well.This is definitely what anyone with a GM V-8 is looking for, probably most other domestic V-8 and V-6's as well.One neat trick is that you can use it as is (great to just temp tighten the Distributor while you check the timing) or you can break it down and use the half with the required wrench size on it and a socket wrench and extension to loosen or tighten down for good when you're done.Recommended
