Delicious, but like everything else, a bit light on the salt
They are delicious. They were fresh and very, very few weren’t easily opened. And I rated them on modern standards not my memories of eating pistachios in tavernas in Greece. Those were much saltier and that was the flavor I was hoping for. Greek pistachios have almost a citrus tang to them that you won’t find in California pistachios. When you add a heavier salt load you get a euphoric eating experience. But then I guess you also get high blood pressure!

The package had almost reached its expiration date
The package had almost reached its expiration date. They are not exceptionally tasty. I went to Aegina several years ago and was totally amazed at the large and delicious pistachios that were grown there. When I saw these, I thought they would be at least similar, but they did not even come close. They were small, not too tasty, expensive, and had almost reached their expiration date.

Disappointed
The nuts were very dry and had an "off" taste; they did not taste anything like pistachio nuts. I was expecting a better quality product for what this cost.
