The velvet fabric it came in was cut with scissors, along with the clear wrapping around it. The shipping packaging was all in tact, so it was put in the envelope like that. Was very disappointed, but had no other gift alternative for my nephew, so I gave it to him like that. The bookmark itself was also slightly bent.

The only thing I I dislike is that they could use a little better ribbon, but the overall design of the bookmark is good.
