Working on antiaging
I have seen lots of people doing microneedling to keep skin young and glowing. I have only had the chance to use once, but it wasn’t as scary as I thought. I started slow. Used a hyloronic acid to slick and was really pleased with the results

Dr. Pen Ultima M8S Professional Microneedling Pen
I found out about this product because my friend told me about it. I'm in my mid 40s and I'm starting to get wrinkles. After using with nice serum once a week, I saw a surprising difference in my skin the next morning. this product is automatic and easy to use. I'm glad that I found this product and can do it on my own at home without going to the dermatologist!

Exactly how I hoped it would be
Good quality. Looks professional. Easy to use and pick which settings I want. I have watched a lot of how to videos on YouTube by various skin professionals and Drs. Just google Dr Pen videos and you can go down a rabbit hole of advice. You can find out which areas of your face are what depths, when to use the 18 count bs the 36 count cartridges, and the difference in what a cosmetic vs a medical needling session is, and what products to use for after care, and how often to do, and what to avoid putting on your face after a session. Get a pen and a pad out, take notes, and start watching reputable videos by professionals.

Best Dr. Pen yet…!
This is the best Dr. Pen I’ve used yet. The depth dial is easy to read and adjust—unlike my former M8! It feels very comfortable and ergonomic in the hand when you’re using it on your face. Charges very well and quickly, and is overall very well-made. I really like the plastic case that came with it too.

Best one yet
This one is so easy to adjust the dial measurement is easy to read. It fits so comfortably in my hand which is a huge plus cause holding my old one for any lengthy amount of time while it’s on with the vibration kills my hand and made it only tolerable for a limited amount of time. Works great easy to use and love the case that came with it.

Easier than expected
Was a little hesitant considering this uses needles. Has instructions and has different size needles and different speeds. Haven’t used it long enough to know if it has helped with hair growth but so far it has been easy to use for someone with no experience.

Wish the instructions were better and more detailed.
I suggest you look up videos and articles on how to use this before beginning. I took about an hour to do that. I particularly liked Life & DIY.Make sure you have a few hours home. It doesn't take that long, (maybe 10-20 min depending on how much you're doing) but your face will probably redden for a few hours and you probably don't want to be in public like that. ("What's wrong with your face?" etc.)Charge your pen before use. It comes with 2 different kinds of needle cartridges - 18's and 36's. Which one to use? Your guess is as good as mine. I had to do a lot of research and decided on the 36 for what I was working on and the issues I was dealing with (mainly hyperpigmentation and sun damage). They don't discuss this in the instructions :/ Make sure your face is clean before using and add serum and vitamin C before using as well. Anything that you think may help the process of whatever facial issues you're dealing with. As for the speed - again, who knows??? There's nothing indicating which is best or what to do as far as speed goes. I started with 1 and moved it up to 2 but I don't know the correct protocol. I've seen microneedling done in both circular motions and back and forth. I don't know that there's any difference in effectiveness. Something else it doesn't explain in the instructions. :/ There's no HOW to microneedle in there. What it DOES tell you is how deep to make the needles based on where you are working. (I'm thankful for that). But note - it says .25 is good for the nose - I ended up with some bleeding but it could be because I have a lump on my nose from when I broke it years ago.I wasn't sure exactly how long to do the microneedling so I just kept at it for a while all over my cheeks, nose and in between my eyebrows. You can certainly do your whole face. I guess it took about 10-15 minutes. After I was done I put Vitamin C and serum on those areas and WOW - my face felt like a baby's bottom. I DID NOT expect immediate results. BUT it was red and did hurt a bit. In fact, many hours after, my nose is still a little sore (but I told you, it bled a bit I think because of the lump at the top of my nose.) I reapplied the serum and Vitamin C again a bit later. The instructions don't say how often to do the microneedling and I've seen various spans of time. You just have to research. I've seen everything from weekly to monthly. But I know this is effective as I've seen results from others and have already seen results on my own face! As far as how this effect rosacea, I don't know. I'm HOPING it doesn't irritate it as I deal with it. :/ And it may be the serum and Vitamin C that may effect it - pretty much ANYTHING I put on my face causes a flare up.This is 100% worth it. What a bargain from going to get it done by someone else. I just need to read up more on the most effective ways. Also, as far as the disposable needles go, the instructions say to throw them out afterward, but if only one person is using it, I'm trying to find out if it can be used again if sterilized. Hoping, but not sure. That being said, the replacements aren't expensive.Oh, and as far as pain goes - it didn't bother me but I have a high pain tolerance. I know they recommend using a numbing cream beforehand if need be. I didn't need to. But I guess it depends on how deep you go and for how long as well.

Doesn’t work as it it supposed to
I tried this and definitely like the ease of use but the actual pen doesn’t wiek as it is supposed to work. This is supposed to have a vertical movement more like a stamping action which is completely missing. So basically it pulsates in its place which is dangerous to use on skin as it feels like dragging on skin rather than stamping on skin. At thins point I am not sure how they have so many positive reviews.. Didn’t receive any updates from seller when I reached out on this issue. Doub the authenticity of the seller.
