GM’s screen info poorly chosen
The resource book and map are nice, but the info printed inside the screen could have been better chosen. I would have preferred a quick reference to cover the very basic rules like how to roll a skill check, instead of a table suggesting random ways to liven up an adventure. The “Player Game Reference for 13th Age” PDF from Pelgrane’s site is a better rules summary.

The screen build quality is very disappointing.
The GM Screen is made from the equivalent of a softcover book cardboard cover. It's very flimsy and just honestly disappointing in appearance.This screen is a good example of how excellent material can be ruined by poor presentation.
